Yaaay! Wemby finally showed up! A few cool holos, and 2-out-of-3 Rise ‘n Shines ain’t too bad. I have never heard of the Impulse parallel…interesting! Pretty cool looking.
Would have been nice if the Impulse was a better RC, but overall this wasn’t bad

I personally think that because Wemby is signed with Fanatics that his Panini products will me limited. I've seen people open boxes and didnt pull even 1.
It’s a 300 card set, and each blaster has only 90 cards, so most of the set is going to be missing from most boxes. Wemby cards are not short-printed relative to other base cards.
Hoops will always be a good fun rip! The Impulse is pretty cool! No Slam makes me sad✌️
Yeah I wish they still had SLAMs in here, but I guess since they only had that insert twice, it will make those sets more special in the long run.

I got lucky earlier tonight with a couple blasters. Hit the two base Wemby’s plus a Rookie Greetings & Rise N Shine mem of his as well. Also got a red /75 Ausar Thompson base. I was pleased. lol

Wemby is the only rookie that’s getting a lot of attention right now. Most of the other rookies have either been playing sub-par or they’ve been dealing with injuries. Probably as the year goes on there will be some more rookies that get some hobby love.
I got no wembys but I got 2 millers and 3 ausar and 2 amen and 1 scoot good or bad?
If they’re just base Hoops cards, the only ones that are really worth anything are Wemby rookies. The others are nice if you have a bunch, but individually they’re probably worth less than $1 each. That’s pretty typical for Hoops.
Impulse looked better in 21-22 with the actual explosion
That was technically the Anniversary parallel that they included for the NBA’s 75th anniversary, and then the next year they changed it to Impulse, but I agree the explosion effect looked way better.
I just started colllecting. When y’all do these videos, most of you almost always have 3 stacks. What are those 3 stacks?
I can’t speak for what other breakers do, but I usually set up my stacks like this:
Right stack: all veteran base cards
Middle stack: base rookies, base inserts, non-numbered vet parallels
Left stack: rookie parallels, #’d cards, autographs, patches, or anything else of value
