- I'm late to the Wembanyama party, but better late than never! I picked up a hobby box for the "low, low" price of $185, which is insanely high for Hoops. But we all have to pay the Wemby tax this year I guess. How many Wembys can I pull?

@@SageTheCollector packman has done it plenty of times before he opens the box…all you have to do is show the back and tell your fans to pause to see what it contained…also reading the boxes yourself before filming might give you a better understanding of what’s inside…just advice
@@THENEWMrYungT1992 Ha. Don’t worry. I’ve been doing this for years, and I always read the back of the boxes first. I just don’t always remember everything. Figuring out if Hoop-las are always holos did not warrant stopping the break to look at the box.

I would say that was a pretty decent box. The presentation and the high voltage are sets I'm going after this year. They look so good.

Was in a hoops hobby case break,we definitely had the back to back wemby cards in a few packs, and the presentations inserts I don't think are that rare unfortunately we had 9 in 1 case fyi

Once again great video sage. FYI as a blazers fan. Toumani has been playing pretty decent in portland. Though he struggles with his shooting, he's pretty athletic. He has already got a couple cool dunks (there was one over chet lol), and he can lock ppl up on defensive side.

My box came today & we both pulled the Giannis & Kyle kuzma city edition, the kyrie & jarace walker sheesh, Zion anti gravity. I got the back to back wembys pack, & the cade high voltage & my auto was hot ink christian braun

Definitely an above average box from what I’ve seen! I’m guessing those Presentations cards are not SSP, but still more rare than all the other insert sets in Hoops, because I’ve seen some breaks without one.
Yeah. I looked up that Kris Murray Presentations on eBay, and there are a bunch. Definitely not SSP. Maybe not even SP.

Oh man you got clowned (Clowney’d?). Not a terrible box though considering some of them have no Wemby’s and horrible autos. Love the presentations inserts and I might try to go after that set once the prices go down.
I definitely got Clowned! 😄 It could have been worse I guess, but at $185, it's almost impossible not to get clowned on these.

New to cards why would the price of Wemby cards keep going down by next year wouldn’t it increase in value ?
Sadly, no. Almost all players go down in value over time. Even good players. But in this case, these Wemby's are his first NBA-license cards in a Spurs uniform, so people are paying INSANE prices for low-end base cards. People were paying $40-$50 for the first Hoops base cards to hit eBay. Those cards will be $1-$2 next year, because by then there will be tens of thousands of them in circulation.

Last year hoops hobby were half the price of this year, yet pack odds and design are fairly the same, not worth at all

Im gonna sound like a hater. But since im a magic fan I can’t help but not be invested in Wemby. All the shine spurs have been taking away as their 3- 14 in the Magic second in the east.
So I won’t be collecting wemby
The Magic are way more fun to watch this year than the Spurs, that's for sure!
