    $3500 guitar into a $1200 processor...good ole' worship tutorials. It sounds killer though...really great. Also...that bridge is nearly identical to Tom Delonge's rhythm style with Blink-182. "What's My Age Again" immediately popped into my head. Similar, just a lot slower and more effects. Just an observation...funny how patterns work in different applications.

    Can you guys PLEASE do an electric guitar tutorial for Dear God by Cory Asbury, there isn't a single tab or tutorial for this song on the whole internet, the guitar solo at the end of the song is gnarly.

    "If you think of the key of Gb, the minor pentatonic scale is the Eb minor pentatonic". Hi, I'm interested in the theory behind when you explain how to play the intro (main riff). Could someone explain why we play the Eb minor pentatonic scale when it's they key of Gb? (I'm new to theory sorry).

      Not sure why - maybe UA-cam is still processing them. Either way, the time stamps are in the description and you can click on them to jump around.
      EDIT: Should be working now. You have to add a 00:00 marker - didn't know that (but now I do, ha).

    All the modeling stuff. The dudes who wrote the songs were playing with real amps and pedals. Give or take. Y'alls content is great! Although it is limited to those using modeling amps. In all honesty they sound good on a UA-cam video but can get very brittle and digital sounding at volume. Same tutorial with real amps and pedals would be great. AWESOME CONTENT! Long live the tube. This is the way.

    • @renoutlaw8371
      @renoutlaw8371 3 роки тому

      Everything they say about the modeling stuff is applicable to real amp and pedals, that's the entire point of modelers. A dotted eighth delay with 3 repeats is still a dotted eighth delay with 3 repeats whether its in Axe effects or on a Timeline.

    • @logopneumatika
      @logopneumatika 3 роки тому +3

      Dude, tube amps have their place, but virtually all the big names in P&W electric guitar (Nigel Hendroff, Michael Pope, James Duke, David Hislop, Brian Carl, Lincoln Brewster, David Liotta, etc.) have digital solutions for the road and at their churches. Most of the above go to Kemper, but it’s not a “tube vs. digital” binary. Both have their place and we’ve reached a point where you cannot tell the difference in a blind A/B comparison.

      Not if you do it right 😎

    • @worshiptutorials
      @worshiptutorials  3 роки тому +6

      My guess is that if I would have said in the video "I'm playing through an amp and pedals on this one!" and still just used the FM3, people would have commented "Listen to how much better a real amp and pedals sound!" 🤷🏻‍♂️😂
      I did go out of my way to talk about how to get these sounds with pedals and an amp in this video, though. We understand that not everybody likes digital modeling, and that's great. We think it's important to play what inspires you.

      @@worshiptutorials Lmao the first part is 100% true. I usually put the equivalent pedals to what I'm using in my Helix, you can see them here dshowmusic.com/line-6-helix-effect-models/ .
