I just have one TN, a black passport size with my moon sign emblem as the charm. Using it for random journal-ling entries & for fun, a blank comic book insert that I pencil in hilarious encounters I've come across from time to time. The insert accessories really fill in the cover, like the craft folder, canvas & plastic inserts plus stencils make more attractive pages!
Thank you! I should post more of my planners content after the setup and how they get used! I am working on be better at that :) The junk journal is so nice for all that ephemera that doesn’t have a house haha 😂 literally garbage journal! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for watching! 🥰
Ah wow~ what an impressive collection, I absolutely loved watching this! Also, I adore your little "gossip insert"~ so fun heheh. This is really making me think if I should trial TN out for myself~ let's see 🥰
@@Whatttupv Perhaps to trial a more advanced common placing system, rather than just having a very thin notebook floating around lose in my Hobonichi~ I finish the memo pad common place very quickly, before I even have time to get used to it so I need something a bit more thicker and solid! A system within a TN cover might then be something to try:)
I seee I think you should try common placing on the TN insert at first before to see if you like the size and it works for you. I bought a thicker Hobonichi A5 notebook for common place and I love the size a lot! Is not so narrow and it’s like the one you have now but with more pages :D
Your collection is sooo diverse and it’s amazing how each one has their own stories and uses. I have 4 covers right now - 2 regular (the Tokyo Station and the latest Tokyo edition) and 2 passport (og black and SB reserve in camel). I’m eyeing that Kyoto cover when I go back to Kyoto in the future and also those Narita airport covers 😃
I own 6 TN covers; one for each grade level I teach (6-7, 8, 10), one for my "teacher brain (schedule, lesson plans, meeting and other notes), the Tokyo edition for my personal common place journal, and a passport size for my wallet.
@@Whatttupv I use the free weekly for my school planner, since we have a weird schedule of classes. I use a third party dot grid with tomoe river paper for my lesson plans etc. other than that I generally just used the lined travelers insert for the different grade levels, with one for lesson/unit ideas, one for research I might do (scholarly articles, books etc.) and one that has all my notes for the specific text I'm teaching in that class at the moment. My passport size has two set ups. Wallet set up I use the notepad, and a free monthly, as well as the paper zipper insert and the plastic card insert, but when we travel it holds our passports and a short trip insert to track money. I'm sure there are elements I'm missing, but that gives you a rough idea.
WOW! What a beautiful collection you have! I enjoyed your video and it was lovely to see how you use them all. I have been using TN covers for a few years now. I have 8 TN covers in regular size, 4 TN in passport size and 6 TN from different companies that are not TRC. I love my TRC covers the most because they are plain leather, I love the clean design. I use each cover for different topic and it's such a great system for me. I don't think I'd buy more. I have more than enough. But I will cherish these leather covers for years to come. Thanks for your inspiration!
@@Whatttupv No, only Camel, Black, Brown, Blue (which they appear Green, which I love) and Olive. I love that the cover has nothing embossed on top. But I'm just weird :) The Special Editions are so beautiful! Such a great collection to have!
Nice collection. It's like rabbits. They keep jumping up ! lol. They are magical little notebooks to have at hand for just about everything and anything
i have 4 TN covers! 3 passports and 1 standard. the passport blue is my wallet, the olive passport and camel passport i alternate between as my brain dump journal. my standard brown is my travel journal and my junk journal. thank you for sharing your collection! 💛
@@Whatttupv i usually just journal about my feelings or things that are on my mind. it’s nice to have a place for those because my daily journal is more like a daily log. i hope that makes sense!
I’ve bought 2 standard and 1 passport in olive at different times and they are all brown. Customer service said that their team still considers it olive and that’s why it’s just called olive and not olive green. I would have bought different colors if I would have known. I also really wanted green. 😢
Ugh is soooo annoying!!! I literally was so upset when mine were brown! I get the olives can be brown but I always imagine them green! I am so sorry that happened to you!
For the standard size I used A5 rings from Amazon, there is a short or video I made on how to do it. And routine wise I have the travelers company cleaning thingy for the leather. :) I don’t do it as often tho. The most scratched ones are the ones I take out the house on travel or just wallet.
LOL, "these stickers are about being lazy". I think they suppose to picture relaxation or mindfullness nowadays. But I guess we called that being lazy before the internet.
I am not sure how to get there as I went by car and my friend drove but we just searched Kyoto Travelers factory and it directed us there. They had the blue design cover and the Ace Hotel when I went. :)
Not really, actually I found that buying them directly in the factory (airport, train station, Starbucks…) they are cheaper than online. Many people are reselling and they are super expensive
Do you own a TN cover? If so, what do you use it for?
👋🏻 Hi! Yes I have one, It's been a while since I went on vacation, but that's what I will use it for.
I have a few and it’s definitely for travel, stationery and some themed inserts for favorite restaurants, etc 😊 I have been neglecting my tns though 😅
