Ahh so awesome to see this. Have loved Kevin since I was 15 years old (now 47). He prophesied over me at 16 and had a profound impact on my life. This is awesome as always. Love this anointed Psalmist.
I am so glad that you’ve got back up on that stage, and let us in worship, Kevin, Because I was able to come into the presence of the Lord, and worship him, even though my heart is breaking. was 33 in 1993, took kevin and the band out on my boat in Hawaii Kai did some diving and talked with him at length (was a worship leader, played many of His Songs) they were there in the churches , it Struck me how Humble and Lowly He was, His Heart and words inspired me, what a gift from the Holy Spirit, pure encouragement, So Happy to See Him doing Worship again Wow......thank You God
there was only ONE worship leader like Kevin and that was Kevin himself...a heart of David he had and has...his worship is why I love the LORD so intimately today at age 49

I cut my Christian teeth in worship ministry on Kevin's beautiful songs...so long ago. 1986? It blessed my heart to tears to see this video & enter into worship once again. ❤❤💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
How did I stumble upon this! I remember blasting Kevin on my CD driving to the Toronto Blessing, in the 1990s and how powerful his anointed praise was, and glorious with the beauty of the setting rays of the golden sun in view! Many years have passed, and I, like Kevin, I have suffered much loss, and robbery, including my God-given husband who died and left me to parent and raise his babies alone to adulthood! But, i stand on the promises of God these 18 years later, and await on The Lord, trusting Him, and never ever letting go!! I too, bow, and I kiss the son of righteousness!
Finding myself here sometimes more than once a day, worshipping The Son, Jesus!!! Also sharing with my family who have lost children. It’s such a deep pain!!! For me, loss of my grand son and now fighting a large kidney stone. Staying next to worship and the power of the Word of God. That’s for showing up for this morning, every one who had a part of this anointed worship service. I hope I can find some more helpless broken vessels that I can share this with. This is the year of life and family restoration, deliverance!!! Come on Glory!!!
Wow. It was so good to see Kevin ministering publicly in this video. I am familiar with his story. Thanks for being vulnerable, Kevin, and sharing about the anxiety you felt. I especially loved the spontaneous song at the end about the need to talk about liberty and freedom. It has taken me years to heal from both childhood and church trauma. Learning how to befriend my nervous system, and getting healing for past trauma, has brought me to a place of liberty and freedom. For us to experience Luke 4:18 (healing the brokenhearted and setting at liberty those who are bound), we must become trauma-informed.

Saw Kevin and his group at the Festival of Joy in Toronto Canada in 1996. It was excellent and included lessons and music from Larry Norman and Bob Fitts. I just played Kiss the Son at Wait and See last week.
I’ll never forget that conference - Kevin was doing “Praise the Lord” and he brought the song down to a quiet part and this large group of South Koreans in front of me started singing out freely and the whole place erupted from there. One of the most epic times at TACF for me.

As I watched this video I sense a Holy presence along with lots of struggles, heartache and pain. I don’t know the history of Kevin but it seems that he has been through a lot and is just grateful for the unending grace of God. He talked about his anxiety challenge. May we spend time to intercede before our God for those we admire, respect and lead in ministry. Pray that the enemy will not make a mockery of them especially in their private lives. Don't suppose podcasters read 5 mo old comments but your Let's talk about freedom, liberty and God is moving brought me to antiphonal singing like i was taught by a certain sister in the Lord, Colleen Hellesvig. So when you sang Liberty, i sang (at home,) Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty; when you sang Freedom, i sang, Whom the Lord sets free is free indeed; and when you sang the Lord is moving, i sang He's moving mountains; He's removing walls; He rides on the wind by His Name YAH. Deep calls unto deep, Brother Kevin and i believe you and your worship team can magnify the Lord in the same way some Psalms are written as couplets. Also when you sang, I sang Lord, you have kissed me with the kisses of Your mouth and sealed me with Your love. So many Scriptures answer one another. I could go on bcz all along the hour i felt the Lord Presence to worship Him. I hope you are finding more and more of these open doors around the world into worship around Heaven's throne room. I'm also very grateful to hear you say, "my wife." whoever she is. The children you once "lost" i pray have come to terms with their individual need of the Lord and have long made you their Dad as adults, too. So much pain in this world.
