Very interesting how the coach is subconsciously ingraining a technique but at the same time helping him feel the joy of hitting a tennis ball. I played tennis and I had a reasonable ability to hit the tennis ball. However we had to learn with stiff arms and legs, and the swing became mechanical instead of being natural. Fascinating how the coach is grooving technique without removing the natural ball striking and joy of hitting
What most people don't know about this little boy living in a small country being bombed by NATO with parents barely making it (and what the boy himself probably consciously didn't realize at the time) is that at 4 years old he was given a sword (tennis raquet) to fight back - and that he DID REALIZE on some level! Novak's greatness in the game was solely borne from those dark days; his duty as a "Serbian knight" fighting for his family and country.
Beautifully said! Your very keen observation made me cry! He did fight for his country and his people - in his own way! I'll never forget the scene in which he refused to shake Bill Clinton's hand when Clinton insisted on meeting him! Did he forget that he ordered for Novak's country to be bombed?? So yes, I 100% agree with you - thank you!!

I still think it's Roger, the same way Schummacher is for F1 and not Hamilton. If the difference in numbers was huge, okay, sure, but it's more important to have an impact on the way the sport is played.
@@TheLMBLucas There’s a huge difference. Tennis is an individual sport. Formula 1 isn’t, because the car is a bigger factor than the driver. Everything you do is dependent on how dominant your car is. In tennis, it’s simply you Vs the other man. Novak conquered both Nadal and Federer (positive H2H against both). Most majors, most weeks at no.1, most big titles, tripled career slam, most wins over top 10 players, the list goes on. Formula 1 and tennis are fundamentally opposites. It’s not like Hamilton and Schumacher directly “faced each other” head to head, with no external factors.
@@mikemoggerson6651 Oh well, then you know even less about F1 than me 😂 I'm not expert but my family is. And Hamilton was given the best car and won with it. Schummacher changed Ferrari from the inside, he was part of the process. That's pretty much what Roger did to the sport too, a revolution, coming from someone who was not destined for greatness until he changed his mentality as an adult.
@@TheLMBLucas that’s so false on so many levels lmao. I know a lot more about F1 than you, and tennis. Schumacher transforming Ferrari into a successful team has NOTHING to do with Federer being an icon in tennis. Federer being popular hasn’t turned into success. It was the other way around. The difference is (if what you were saying was even remotely true, but remember Schumacher wasn’t the one designing the car) that Schumacher “revolutionizing” Ferrari turned into championships. It’s not even remotely related to what you’re saying in general, which tells me you know absolutely nothing about either sport. The guy has blown 40-15 match points to Djokovic on THREE separate occasions with the crowd on your side. How can you be the goat while being humiliated so badly by your biggest rivals over and over? Federer was 10-21 against Nadal and Djokovic in majors. That’s a 30% win rate. He has less majors than both and a losing record to both. In particular, he has less majors, less big titles, less weeks at no.1, no double career slam (Djokovic has triple), has never beaten Nadal at RG, etc etc etc. Federer’s resume is absolutely lacking compared to other two. He is done from the goat race. Even despite being the most “loved,” Fed’s days as goat are gone forever. Stats don’t lie, ESPECIALLY in an individual sport. F1 isn’t an individual sport, and it’s more machine than man.
@@mikemoggerson6651 Ok, buddy, you are clueless when it comes to both sports and it showed when you said "I know more than you" for no reason and then "F1 is more machine than man" and "tennis is individual". Then by reading the rest, I confirmed it. Don't even bother replying back.
The coach said when he was 4 years old "BRAVO CHAMPION" ....''Well done champion '''....and he guessed well ... that prediction was spot on...... ... like he knew.....
He is so adorable, when his coach asks him to get in position for hitting backhand, it's exactly the same as he hits now or for a long time now. It's unreal how his technique has remained just the same. Surely, his coach deserves a lot of credit too. Without this bh djoker won't have been the most successful player of all time❤️
What a sweet video. Who would have imagined that this cute kid would grow up and become the greatest tennis player of all time? 07/29/21. Djokovic has won the first 3 slams of this year and is currently vying for a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Currently holds 20 GS titles.

Probably that coach triggered the fire in Novak? He is so kind, patient and very motivating. Novak has to be grateful to this coach.
It’s sad to think that this kind man has passed on, the man who first introduced Nole to tennis and fostered his love for the sport. He would be very proud to see him today.
my hero. my inspiration. my everything. i learn so much from djokovic, so much. god bless him.
Our legend, thanks to exist Novak
Nole is a true champion and a principled man. He is my tennis hero, now.
What a pleasant and patient Coach... God bless him...
Extremely important to have a good coach with young kids.... great job coach!
That double-handed backhand...he's carried it throughout... will stay for the rest of his life...luvU Nole..my Maannn 🔥
It is so impressive to see how it all began .
Respect and love from Cyprus
Palashinken and ice...sooo cuteeee💜
Very interesting how the coach is subconsciously ingraining a technique but at the same time helping him feel the joy of hitting a tennis ball. I played tennis and I had a reasonable ability to hit the tennis ball. However we had to learn with stiff arms and legs, and the swing became mechanical instead of being natural. Fascinating how the coach is grooving technique without removing the natural ball striking and joy of hitting
That coach was so encouraging and supportive. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that... why are my eyes leaking 😔
Oh, bud, I know what u mean
Oh, don't feel bad : (
You can do it. I'm sure about that.
Your not the only mate, I think allot people unfortunately have gone through the same
I know the feels, was going to cry when I had a supportive teacher earlier this year at 23 years old. You just learn to expect punishment sometimes
Bravo Nole.
I think.this man will complete the tennis and become Goat of tennis ❤
When he said "look at the champion" i really felt that.
I think like most players he is playing for his own succes.
Novak is number one for the people of Bakans. He is amazing. Bulgaria loves Nole. :)
Beautiful as a child, wonderful as a man!!! A marvellous athlete!! God bless him!!!
"Look, a champion"
Awesome.
Nestorović:"Šta ćeš biti kad porasteš?"
Đoković:"Najbolji na svetu."
He can be identified by his cuteness and his hairstyle.
& those wolf eyes too
1:15 for a 4 year old only into his 2nd training session, his shots were stunningly powerful and accurate .
1:06 "Aim at the dad" (Proceeds to strike the ball straight on dad)
The most sweetest video one could ever imagine. And now, he almost has 24 Grand Slams. So this coaching was absolute worth back in 1991.
"NOVAK THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD"
As a Kid so small and Cute
He practiced hard every day
To become astute
To the common man this was Unknown
He had dreams of a Great Journey Beyond
He heard about the Two "R's" Dominating the Game
He said " Hey I want to do the Same and never feel any Shame!"
As the New Kid on the Block
He Trained so hard his body became Hard as a Rock
He was Ready to give the World The Great big Shock
A Rising Champion on all levels of the Human Condition
The Whole World would soon Realize that he was on a Serious Mission
People Started Remembering his name
Novak Djokovic Became the Pride and Soul of the Serbian Flame
He could not be Defeated Ever in the Big Game
He always looks like he is having so much Fun
That is why he is Number 1
So as a Fan who watched you from aside
Knowing how hard you always Tried
Makes me so Proud to see
The Champion of The World is Finally Free
And is Now Hopefully Looked Upon with Glee

such a cutie pie!!Baby GOAT !!
"Baby GOAT" just killed me! So cute brings tears to my eyes. This is the sweetest and most wholesome video ever and what a great and kind coach and super little fledgling talent
He was lucky ! He discovered his talent and doing what he likes in life to earn money. Not many kids are so lucky in life.
Unfortunately, not many kids grow up to be pros at anything.
That's not luck, that's years of doing Wht u love every single day..
@@justdancetm2731 obviously being lucky enough to have an environment to foster and grow that talent.
I wish I knew I loved racing back when I was a kid
Yeah it's proven in quantum physics that fate doesn't exist.
And now he's statistically the greatest tennis player of all time. Legendary transformation.
We need to give this marvelous trainer more attention
1:51 "BOTH pancakes and ice cream?" Too cute 😂😂😂
Little did the coach know, that he had on his hands arguably the greatest player of all time. Amazing 🎾
Hardly arguably
v savage
Federer, Nadal, Novak.
Whats the argument
v savage don’t be silly
Go ahead then give the argument silly pants
The coach said when he was 4 years old "BRAVO CHAMPION" ....''Well done champion '''....and he guessed well ... that prediction was spot on...... ... like he knew.....
Trener je za medalju! Toliko pažnje i podrške.
Adorable! That explains everything, the kind of champion he has become. Love him then, love him now. A true gentleman.
It don't explain nothing. You the drama queen #2.
He is so adorable, when his coach asks him to get in position for hitting backhand, it's exactly the same as he hits now or for a long time now. It's unreal how his technique has remained just the same. Surely, his coach deserves a lot of credit too. Without this bh djoker won't have been the most successful player of all time❤️
Novak always a Champion, but this coach is great!
It really pays off being such a kind trainer to a child
What a sweet video. Who would have imagined that this cute kid would grow up and become the greatest tennis player of all time? 07/29/21. Djokovic has won the first 3 slams of this year and is currently vying for a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Currently holds 20 GS titles.

@Nemanja Dzodic Amin brate sve si dobro rekao.
Great coach he installs confidence and belief..
