The play, Yeh Dil Maange More, is based on an age-old saying, which is altered to relate to the present scenario " marriages are made in heaven and broken on earth".
This play is a fast moving musical romantic comedy of two couples Karan/Jassi and Pandurang/Karishma.When Karan a typical Indian male finds out that Karishma his ex- girlfriend has moved into the flat next door along with her husband Pandurang, who has a job in Dubai. Karan wastes no time to get Karishma's sympathy by telling her how fed up he is with his wife Jassi and how impossible it's becoming to stay with her. Karishma suggests that if Karan is so frustrated with Jassi, he should divorce her and she will be happy to give Karan all the support he needs, Karan accepts the suggestion. Jassi too gets upset when she hears about this from MariJassi then happens to meet Pandurang, who turns out to be no other than her ex- boyfriend. She cried in front of Pandurang and tells him how useless and careless her husband is. He gives her the same advice his wife gave Karan. He tells her to divorce Karan rather than live miserably. And of course, Pandurang will be there to support her, just the way Karishma will be there to support Karan. And Jassi accepts. But the story takes a bizarre turn. The couples approach an advocate A.Nyay Singh and his verdict gives a new twist to this musical, comical play.
