its crazy too know that this siren would withstand the devastating EF-4 this siren may have some scratches on it but sure does pack one hell of a punch for mayfiled
@@AmericanSirenProductions Wait really? With how much it had done? I mean it's understandable. After everything it went through it deserves retirement lol! Maybe it'll be privately owned or something. But I'm honestly shocked it's still there! With all that aside, what happened in. Mayfield and quite frankly, almost half the state of Kentucky and parts of states around it, is absolutely devastating none the less. It's very sad what happened there. But with a storm that huge, it's leading me to thinking there's got to be a reason it's being replaced in the first place. This 3T22 went through a massive tornado. There's a chance it might not work anymore, or be incredibly sick. I wouldn't know because I don't live there. The sad irony of all this is the 3T22 took a fight against and EF4 and the 2001 SRN that was in this town went bye bye! I don't like to see it as funny at all, because of the deviation that happened in this city and county. But the irony is this 3T22 will likely be replaced with an SRN that undeniably is not made to be as durable. 😂🤣
@@Bugsbunnyskooling101 From what source? I have a photo of the damn thing still on it's pole. It dodged one hell of a bullet. Besides the steel pole being bent a little from the high winds.
By some miraculous miracle, it survived. Actually appears to be in good shape too. Leaning a bit, not too bad. Prayers for everyone in Mayfield and other places.
not to be rude or anything but this isn’t the tornado siren in mayfield ky, i drove through mayfield before the tornado hit (since i got family there) but the real siren is the Federal signal 2001 siren in Graves County
@@Connerflows not to be rude, but yes this is. This siren was on the corner of East Broadway and North 5Th St next to the police department. When you go to Street view set the date back to 2019 and it’s there 😎 so thanks for stopping by.

the fact that this is the last sound some of the people of mayfield ever heard is so sad
Damn that thing is stupid tall! Crazy to believe that it actually survived the Tornado that happened! Do you know if it's still up?
It’s still up but not active
@@AmericanSirenProductions that sucks
@AmericanSirenProductions I was in Mayfield today. This siren was taken down.
My god that's a tall pole
This siren probably just ran for the last time.
(Reference: Mayfield KY was hit by a large tornado as I post this comment)
Considering what the court house looks like next to it on Facebook I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s gone.
@@AmericanSirenProductions can confirm via a contact its gone. moore style.

I think everything but the top intake survived
@@AmericanSirenProductions actually it survived
So yeah, this siren is uhhhh....gone
Say a prayer for those in Mayfield
Update: Holy fuck it’s alive
Its still there on the pole but leaning alot.
By some miraculous miracle, it survived. Actually appears to be in good shape too. Leaning a bit, not to bad.
this isn’t the real siren in mayfield
So no one’s gonna talk about how fucking high that thing is?!? Literally one of the highest sirens I’ve ever seen
I remembered that this was one of the only times all of the tornado sirens in graves didn’t need any repair
Even with this giving the warning, Mayfield didnt stand a chance against that EF4 tornado..............😔
There is a video on WPSD 6 showing a video of this siren in the background showing that it survived surprisingly.
RIP Mayfield and sien
