- Pancho the Sea Lion is a local legend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, one of the top fishing destinations in the world. Cabo San Lucas is home to world class Striped Marlin, Tuna, and Mahi fishing. It’s also home to a TON of fat sea lions who lounge around near the fishing docks, waiting for fishermen to toss them handouts after returning from sea.
Some articles call him Pancho the sea lion, others call him Poncho the sea lion, but according to a facebook page started for him, it’s Pancho the sea lion.
News organisations who refer to the Sea Lion as Pancho - Mirror.co.uk, Huffington Post, Fox KTVU News, TheSun.co.uk, Yahoo News.

The seals learned quickly from each other but I can't help feeling concerned for them. It would be in the seals best interest to stop feeding them and keep them completely wild. Somehow, familiarity with humans always turns out badly for wild animals. 😞
I’d agree if they were giving them so much they didn’t feel the need to hunt but seen as it’s just treats it’s not bad. However that last part I couldn’t agree more unfortunately…

Greating seeing your channel growing, i remember your first upload. Btw seals should NEVER be given baitfish. The only fish they should be feed is freshly caught, live local fish.
No wonder we don't see him anymore, we got perputrators instead

As some one who eats meat myself, it always seems odd to me watching people, that are doing it for entertainment, feeding one small fish to a big fish. All this during a happy background music. Just because the bigger fish looks more cute and interacts with people.
