Even just ignoring the political pandering and just accepting the game at face value like they'd want you to Shadows just looks strangely washed out, bland and kind of clunky.
It's cause there's nothing new, formula have been same for every AC game after origins, RPG leveling and levelled equipment mechanic, over bloated open world, combat still remains entirely the same with Shadows trying to copy Ghost of Tsushima.

I agree and SBI better not even try to do their stupid scare tactics to try to extort money out of them because they want to "help" Sandfall Interactive because most likely Sandfall probably know how much of a cancer SBI can be

After black flag they have been losing originality and became trend chasing, started with going into RPG mechanics, then bloated open world and now followed by Woke. Maybe too soon to say about this but they are completely ignorant of Japanese culture which is shown on the trailers so far.

I love your videos, but please know that you're pronouncing Ubisoft incorrectly. I don't blame you, many of their very own staff mispronounce it as you do, in interviews. That's how much they don't care about themselves anymore. It stands for Ubiquitous Software, and the original teams at the developer put out a PSA decades ago, that it is pronounced YouBeeSoft, as in their non-truncated name, Ubiquitous Software.

There's a YT video saying that the game is using icon pictures from the Sekigahara Gun Corps without permission, so add theft to the list.

Looks badass and honestly first time I've been really curious about a games story! I'm here for it!
The answer to that question: HR.
WOKE happened. There are still a lot of talented designers. But everything comes from the top

Its modern colonialism!
pretty much not buying this shit but I gotta admit that Asian hate goes hard like bro literally shaming heads pause
I don’t find turn based combat fun at all.
maybe it's too early to see if there's any woke stuff in the game, but good looking women and , shocker, white men, is a good sign
Wokeness aside, Shadows looks like Ubisoft copied Sucker Punch's homework but did a terrible job of it. Its a lame version of Ghost of Tsushima.
