Im moving to Austin from San Antonio I went last year and I felt in love with the city, Im vegan and Austin is the paradise for vegans lots of vegan restaurants.

@@RG-hf4et That's exciting! Although crime has become much worse in the city since Austin's population started taking off, it's still safer than most of the other major US cities by many metrics. It's just good to be aware and alert, especially at night in an area like Dirty Sixth.
You can rent them using phone apps. They're strewn around the sidewalks all over the city and are really annoying on the road. Lots of tourists use them.

I went to austin 6th street a month ago during the day and the sidewalks were lined up with homeless people. Crazy how clean it looks now.
Yeah it bc of our governor, they're back now, it's sad. The homeless are everywhere

Not particularly nowadays unfortunately. There has been a big issue with gun violence recently.
