The rights have been sold as a radio play, so we're unlikely to see a drama version of s2, at least not anytime soon... It's a happy ending in the novel it's based on, so you can try to read it if you don't mind a slightly different version.
This follows the end of book 1 (Wu bi is still alive). There was meant to be a season 2, which I assume would have a happy ending like book 2, but it looks like we may only get that as a radio drama now.
Yeah it's a bad ending esp now season 2 as a drama is unlikely... You can watch the Easter egg ending to feel a teeny bit better. They mention Wu Bi is still alive in that one.
