I love how accurate this is, the developers really did their research for this remake! Those are portrait style animatronics they had in the early years. And one of the creators of the franchise owned Atari so those pong cabinets were a great addition. The "office" layout is kinda weird tho cuz those portrait animatronics irl were against a wall in the main dining room so you would be sitting in this huge room right in front of them, but it's also a creative position even if it doesn't make much sense
Finally somebody mentions the Pong machines lmao
I was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised when I saw those on the Gamejolt page
@@_KaiTheGamer_ Yeah seeing those added made me really happy
@king j Yeah I would definitely go for it
Also the same creator that made five nights at treasure island also made the original version of this game and probably helped with this reboot

Heyo Lewis, the character that’s in the post night is Crusty the Cat. Back in 1977 he was the first guest star animation but he later got replaced by Mr Munch for not having a “ personality”
In my opinion, crusty had way more personality. Mr Munch is just “yum pizza good!” and that’s it.

Finale someone knows who Crusty is. Even though you got some of the information wrong.
Just about to say that
@@elizabethhuntley6056 yep
13:25 That animatronic right there is named Crusty. Crusty the Cat. He is a retired CEC character from 1977-1978. He was the first "guest" star but Mr. Munch replaced him and CEC has led no references to him since.
Cool!

I remember going to Chuck E. Cheese’s as a kid, running around the arcade with a cup full of tokens and collected tickets, eating mediocre pizza, and even some cases, going there for birthday parties. I’ll admit, that as a kid, I was scared of the animatronics but that was because I was scared of mascots in general.
After a few decades, Chuck E. Cheese’s tried to modernize its locations (which is essential for business survival). They did so by taking away things that made Chuck E. Cheese’s a magical place for a child, including taking away a robotic live band. They thought that they were evolving but ripping away what made it special (and other factors like advanced technology) caused less people to go. It’s simply put that animatronic entertainment and arcades do not survive in the 21st century, at least not for long. Thus, I and many others are sad to see it’s death.
Dawko, you were very lucky to go when you did even if you were not a child and could not experience the same pleasures as kids in the 80’s did. You went right before it went bankrupt again and before the pandemic really took it out. I’m happy you were able to see the band that many American’s grew up with.
Yeah the new modernization is really upsetting to me, I grew up with the band as well and loved them. They are removing the stage and are putting in dance floors that are interactive, like the screens you can walk on. They will just have people in suits walk out.
I agree
I remember going to Chuck E's all the time when I was a kid. Sometimes for birthday parties, and other times for my own birthday parties. I still miss that place dearly. I had enjoyed it every time I went there and looking back I just wish I had the chance to go more. It was amazing while it lasted. Although the most modern version of the chuck e animatronic made me wanna hit it with a bat, seriously it evolved so much to the point it didn't look like Chuck e anymore
Also the fact that he said poggers
Idk what you said bc I can’t read
I’m glad they rebooted this game it had a lot of potential to it

2:08 I think those animatronics are supposed to represent the very first type of animatronic state show at Chuck E. Cheese’s pizza time theater in 1977 they were actually portraits on the walls with the animatronics hanging from them… this game has a very early ptt 1977 feel to it
Yep that’s exactly what it is!
In 1977 Mr. Munch would’ve been Crusty and all the portraits would’ve been further apart. So this was around the transition between Portrait bots and cyberamics. (Y’know, October 1, 1979 like it says in the corner)

If I'm correct, the Balcony Era came later, which didn't have legs either, though many of the Portrait Era animatronics are very, VERY creepy in my opinion!
You are correct! I just watched a video about this and that’s indeed portrait era animatronics
The portrait animatronics when they first opened were EXTREMELY unpolished and plain creepy. The one that creeps me out the most is the chef. Later iterations of them like shown I'm the video we're better but in the first concept location they were scary.

As for Jasper and Chuck double team deal with Jasper first. Chuck has a longer window of time to be dealt with than Jasper and Jasper retreats quickly.
The cat that come after you in the 'afternight thing' was Crusty the cat. If you found him, keep flashing him and he says something to tell if hes away.

5:57 I LOVE HOW THEY SPEAK
I'm sorry, dawko saying.. P O N G.. makes me chuckle 😂😂
As much as I dislike making Chuck E. Cheese's seem like FNaF, this game was actually well researched. The animatronics and their portraits are basically the ones they had way back when Chuck E. Cheese's was barely new. The creator of the restaurant, Nolan Bushnell, also was a co-founder ( I think) of Atari, so Pong was a brilliant reference. ^^ Also the animatronic at the end of night thing was Crusty the Cat, the first retired guest star animatronic in Chuck E. Cheese's, who got replaced by Mr. Munch. ^^
It’s so cool to see that these retro FNAF Fan Games are coming back with modern day graphics, fantastic gameplay of Five Nights At Chuck E.Cheese Rebooted
This remake is a huge step up for the original. Rather than stock images, they used actual models for the characters, scenes, and all that jazz. It's really creative that the animtronics are right in front of your "office" but don't actually kill you, instead going through the cameras. My favorite character has got to be Costume, since he's really shrouded in mystery. Overall, pretty awesome remake!
Back when i was like 7 i was terrified of the original and seeing this now brings a tear to my heart :')
Fun fact: I live by a Chuck E. Cheese, which just happens to be next to a daycare. The daycare recently closed down.
Tbh i dont understand how a chuck e cheese can stay open in the pandemic
"don't mess around with it too much you could jam it"
*furiously messes around with it*
Fun fact: The founder of Chuck-E-Cheese’s name was Nolan Bushnell. Not only did he make Chuck-E-Cheese, but he also made the well known video game, pong. He also was originally going to work for Walt Disney, but unfortunately didn’t get the chance to. I think this is interesting, and I hope you do too:)

Ah, the nostalgia..
Man, i thought the old game was a fever dream, this is certainly an upgrade! I actually worked at Chuck E. Cheese for about two months this year (i quit due to basically being the only one not slacking and that put tons of stress on me), and i hear most locations only have the chuck animatronic on a sad little stage all by himself :( but honestly working there really made me re-realize how terrifying fnaf is. CEC is such a happy place that even imagining someone like William Afton working at a place like it and doing those terrible crimes is jarring, plus closing up the place at night and noticing the animatronic basically staring at you is creepy af. Kids either loved him or hated him lol.
The character in the minigame after each night is Crusty the Cat, the first character to be retired. He was only installed in the first location, and was replaced by Mr.Munch. Stuff like that makes it evident that the creator of this fangame has done their homework (especially compared to the original). I would love to see something similar with all eras of Chuck E Cheese, especially Concept Unification
The way Dawko said “PONG” XD
This franchise is the EXACT reason why I found fnaf to be so scary.
I remembered this game and I think it was actually released around 2015- 2016 and it wasn't really the best thing ever.
Now these chuck-e-cheese animatronics are looking pretty creepy at night, even since the place close down! Overall, looking pretty interesting and intense to play and spend night on a chuck-e-cheese place for 5 nights! Great and amazing job Dawko/Lewis, and I do really hope that you are having a wonderful and amazing day 👍
Hey dawko! There are more Battington tapes to continue the story from last Battington episode. So you should react to those in the future!
To answer your question back earlier in Chuck E. Cheese’s history these basically where the original stages which mimicked portraits and later became the stages we have today
I love how this game takes place in the Pizza Time Theatre era of the Chuck E Cheese's restaurant. To be fair, I always found the older CEC animatronics to be kinda scary (especially the half-body ones from the 80s).
Another nice touch is that they named the guy you're playing as Fred. A couple years ago Chuck E Cheese did an animation short that parodied FnaF where Chuck E went to an abandoned store and he was attacked by the animatronics of retired characters. The security guard in that short's name was Fred and he actually said "I work five nights a week"
dawko: what's going on guys--
me: * smiles *
In the post-shift segments, that animatronic that was trying to sneak up on you was Crusty the Cat. He was one of the very original animatronics from the late 1970s locations.

The cat that you saw in the night 1 minigame is Crusty the Cat. He was apart of the original band when the restaurant first opened in 1978.
In our Chuck E. Cheese it’s just Chuck E and not any of the other characters
They have removed the animatronics from most locations and basically killed the band expect for a few refrences in the music videos in the pizzeria
Where is your chuck e cheese at I need to see this , as it is pretty sad
From the looks of it our stuff it set up on top a party table. That man on the phone mentioned that they never needed a security guard before, so they most likely did not have a security office. So you (the person you play) are just set up in the main party room since that would be the easiest place to see all of the animatronics.
Ello people have hearts and the chucky cheese rap ❤
The Animatronics ARE actually in the room with you: that is due to you being in the FIRST Chuck E. Cheese restaurant (which wasn't even initially referred to as "Chuck E's," instead being called "Pizzatime Theatre"), which opened in California around `78-`79. In the beginning, the animatronics didn't have lower halves, just torsos, arms, and a head. Everything beneath that was pistons and pneumatic hoses to make the limbs move. Because they didn't want to freak the kids out (or because Nolan Bushnell and Aaron Fiechter watched "Hollywood Squares" on the Gameshow Network), they constructed these painting frames around them to obscure everything below the torso, and as a clever way to showcase the names of the characters under them. It also explains why most of the animatronics are crawling around: because they have no legs. They're literally tearing themselves from their stage to get at you.
This has a Walten Files type vibe.
there's so many good things in this game, one of my favorite visual aspects is how the models look so accurate but "png-fied" at the same time, this gives it that weird vibe that the earlier fangames had

I can't wait to see this! They made the game perfectly. The animatronics look exactly like in real life to the point where they are truly scary..actually scary. And from what i've heard, it's a way cooler experience! I can't wait. It's like when I first saw Fnaf, the shivers that went down my spine.

2. Keep an eye on the Bug Chuckie.

Here’s some help for you Dawko
Chuck E Cheese: Close the Gate when you hear him.
Costume: Keep the camera on him often to keep him at ease.
Jasper: Use the stage call when he is infront of you.
Mr Munch: Find him on the camera when he’s not in the portrait and keep the camera there until he goes away after a few seconds.
Helen Henny: You’ll see her in the right or left side of your office, use the stage call to put her back
Pasqually: He will randomly become active after leaving your computer system, he will be glitching out and pizza will appear on your desk. quickly turn on the stage call to keep him away.
Tip: More characters can be unlocked after beating custom night challenges
Hope this helped

I'm pretty sure the reason the office is just in some party room is because in night 1 the phone dude says that they're shut down to do renovations, he also says that they don't normally have a night gaurd there so they wouldn't just have an office so they probably had to rush to put something together for the time. And I'm also assuming that either there's one party room or that all of the party rooms have those security gates.

The attention to detail is amazing! In the vintage chuck e cheese (during the battle against showbiz pizza) they animatronics performed in frames, instead of the full body ones we have today. I'm just said they didn't add the king (If you don't know the king was a lion animatronic of Elvis Presley, which was then remade into a Michael Jackson version) they got rid of it but it was restored by a fan.

Also, the animatronic you face off against in the Storage Area would most likely be Crusty the Cat, the first animatronic to be "retired" from performing (the excuse being that he didn't have any real personality to his character or because he constantly broke down in the middle of performances). He was replaced after only one year, being updated two times, then quickly shelved in 1978, being replaced with Mr. Munch. It would make sense he's down there, during the "renovations" the guy on the phone talks about, the older model animatronics were left to rust in peace in the storage area, rather than just simply being thrown away, in case they needed to reuse parts.
