- Joshua Tree, California is known for the gorgeous National Park and also the funky, laid back desert vibes. When you visit, you could camp - but why would you want to when you could go glamping at one of the newest resorts in the area - Autocamp!
Autocamp is known for their part resort/part camping vibe and especially for the Airstream trailers guests can choose to stay in. The nostalgia is worth it alone, but there's also great entertainment, activities and the location is unbeatable! Autocamp is a great compromise for families that have members who love to camp and others who prefer a traditional hotel.
There are locations all over the country, but I wanted to check out their location in the desert just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. Come with me to check it out!

It was very cool!
I stayed there mid January, it was really nice! I’m used to primitive camping but my wife isn’t. This was our middle point. Yeah it’s $$ but we’ll worth it!

This was a very different resort experience and a perfect location to explore Joshua Tree national park. Just a short drive from Southern California and it feels like you’re on another planet. Great option for families with younger children as well. The entire property is fenced in and kids were roaming free while the adults played by the firepit with the live band on the patio. If you want to take a tiny step outside of your comfort zone, this is a great option. Enjoy!

Hello! Thanks so much for this video! Thinking of bringing my husband here for his 50th, he’s 6’4” so I’m concerned about space. Do you think the airstream ceiling is high enough? Will he be uncomfy using the shower and walking around inside? Thanks for your help! Glad you had a fun time. ❤
It is a small space - I think he'd definitely feel a little cramped. The shower was pretty big, though.
Ok thank you! I’m holding onto the hope that most of the time he will be sitting or laying down since all of the daytime hours will be spent hiking. It’s only for one night? I hope it’s not too cramped!
