I have read, and am reading again, a book called “Uncommon Virtues”. Silence is one of those virtues. I read this book during Holy Adoration. It has taught me so much. Thank you, Father Mike, for speaking about the importance of this uncommon virtue.

Heavenly Father please continue to give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I face challenges that can seem impossible especially with raising two children with special needs. Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children and I feel so alone. I’m constantly in fear. At times I want to give up. Jesus give me strength and renew my faith.💕💕

Thank you Father Michael. I've been working on sitting in Adoration and just being in the presence of our Lord instead of asking for things. It takes some practice but so worth it. Speak to me, God, in the silence of my heart.

Silence,is within us, you have to find it and nurture it. Distractions pull in every direction look deep to get away and enjoy that silence

Ten years ago, at the age of 57, I lost my hearing to cancer, plunging me into a world of profound silence. Instead of letting this define me, I made a conscious choice to adapt to the new quietness that enveloped me. A year ago, I was informed that I needed hearing aids. After getting them and enduring a couple of months of incessant noise, conflict, and the misuse of God's name, I made the decision to remove the hearing aids, preferring to return to the soothing and profound tranquility of silence.
Having the freedom to enjoy the tranquil sounds of nature, from the melodies of birds to the laughter of my grandchildren, brings me immense joy. While I cherish these moments together, I also find solace in the silence that follows. I have noticed that the quietude has profoundly affected my spiritual practices. My prayers and meditations have become more profound and intimately connected with the divine presence of the Lord, Jesus.

3:19 father mike you are over the top with your idea of righteousness..with all the bad things that happen on the earth yet the celestial allegedly hones in on the natural processes..why do you think there are 8 billion people..on this earth..?

I am glad you mentioned pornography. As a teenager I developed a habit of pornography and I thought it was innocent. But it wasn’t. It almost tore me apart and it is only through the grace of God that I was able to permanently separate myself from this great Evil. I am so thankful to God for this gift and I am glad you mentioned it so maybe a new generation of young people will know to avoid it at ALL costs!

People I know are shocked that I leave my cell phone at home when I go to church, or a doc appointment, or to the grocery store.

In this silence this morning God provided me with the grace for the meaning of the Eucharist and why we receive him.
The Eucharist is his heart and he wants our hearts to unite with his heart.
We are climbing the ladder to his heart.
The Eucharist contains the Holy Spirit and what is the Holy Spirit consist of?
12 Fruits and 7 Gifts.
These Gifts and fruits nourish our soul to help us perfect all of the virtues which allow us to be perfect just as our Father in heaven is perfect.
And so there it is. The perfect union with God.
Because the manna that the Fathers ate in the desert was for their stomach and still died but the Eucharist is for the soul so that we can gain eternal life because of our Faith and righteousness in God.

Lord help me to become the woman you called me to be and teach me to love people and use things..
