Thank you for showing this team! Got 38 Mio. On first attempt. Unfortunatly DN hit always REX. So I could not enter P2. Yet this team works surprisingly better and quicker than my resistant team. Maybe I use next time R2D2 to protect Rex from getting hit. No idea if R2D2 would slow the team down. Will see.
This is so much better then trying to catch the last 20-30% of phase 2 with shaak and the clones especially with people using gl kylo now and soloing the raid in under 30 minutes...great video!!

What about using R2 instead of Fives? It would not increase the count of Rex as much but it would feed stats to everyone and help keep toons in stealth.
I've done that before ,It's a little safer for P1, but can't get Nearly as far into P2
A just a note for ya bulldog, some of the G12+ pieces for BB8 really boost his survivablity

i've run this several times and as i can say is very much RNG dependant..after Nihilus dispels fives taunt then if he dispels Rex's translation you have to stack up 3 translation again, .i've solo this but based on my experience if Rex's translation gets dispelled more than 2 times you're done.
one tip i can say is that never use C3's mass assist even if Nihilus is at 99.9% full TM that will make C3 go into invisible and you only have 4 toons to get hit by Nihilus, meaning that less toons = more chance for Rex' to get hit.
I ran this and I don't have BB8's zeta, and my clones are G12. I could only get about 25%, which is a lot better than I usually do with the Rey/3CP0/R2/bb8/Finn team, so no complaints here. But I definitely think you have to have BB8's zeta in order to get the kind of results in this video. Otherwise the team is just too vulnerable to Nihilus' force drain and doesn't survive very long.

Itchy C137 It’s very consistent if you have the main zetas. You can control BB-8s health by having JTR target him to give him foresight shortly before Nihilus attacks, particularly the AOE. When he dodges he heals droids 8%. In hindsight I wish I had started healing him earlier and been more proactive about it, but I was still able to maintain his health enough in this run.
Bulldog1205 does that mean the zeta on bb8’s second unique is mandatory for this team to work?
Wei Tu I wouldn’t think so, but I’ve never tried. You could do a much better job of preventing the damage to BB-8 in the first place. I just didn’t care because I knew I could heal him back up. Maybe that extra focus on BB-8 means extra wasted hits on Nihilus or a few missed cooldown decreases and then Rex doesn’t get enough turns in to finish P1. But even if that’s true then you are still going to do a very nice chunk of damage.

Smarrt Dognut offense doesn’t matter much. Damage is almost all % based. Survivability for Fives and Speed for both. Total number of turns they take is really all that impacts damage.

MegaRacerX I don’t think it will matter much. Almost all of the damage comes from Rex and isn’t based on offense, and the team was plenty durable to survive into enrage. Adding extra speed is really probably the only thing that would make it perform better.
The relics change nothing. All the damage is Rex. I’ve been doing this team for a couple weeks with relic’d resistance.
evo x Rex damage isn’t really based on his own stats, so you can’t mod him for more damage. Just speed to take more turns.
When did you start using rexs special? Once used can you just keep on using it?
I prioritized the TM gain over the damage until very late, as the more turns the clones gets the more the damage increases. I haven’t run the numbers, but I’d guess somewhere around 6-7 turns until enrage you want to start prioritizing aerial assault.
Great video, I'm going to try this team tomorrow night. Question: Do Rex & 5's need to be Relic? I have them at g12 and theres no way I can get 5's to 110k Prot, or Rex at 309 speed. Best I can do is 86k protection for 5's, and 270 speed for Rex.
dmk7799ify Did you try it in the end? I did and couldn't get it to work beyond 20-30% of phase 1.
And all 5 toons are relic 3 of higher and all zetaed out, but only relic 3 for both clones.My guess is that his is where I fall short, but I dunno.
Or else it's my speeds. My clones are quite slow still, my best speed mods being used on other toons. I guess my question is: were you able to make it work on your end?
And I only have the two clones Rip, guess I better get to farming -_-

NN5 _Gibs Hes necessary for anything remotely near this score. You need him to reduce cooldowns.

Yes.
What does bb8 bring to the team? Could you sub with someone else like hyoda?
No. When he counters he has a chance to call 3po to assist reducing cooldowns. He also does his illuminated destiny which gives speed up for more turns for rex. Also in P2 there's some more protection recovery for them.
If you dont use bb8 you cant spam Rex's special for tm gain
Bb8 brings everything to that team lol. Hyoda is better on a jedi team which you can run in the 2nd phase

raid only ability, dont remember the name, looks like a shield with waves, avoids death of character, tricky to time it right though
