You want Daka after zombie. Zombie will still revive on a mass death, and sacrifice for Daka. Having her after Zombie helps with her stun landing from Zombie’s tenacity down.

speedwise yes, placement wise Daka should be nr 2

Instructions unclear. I put a visa, and discover with a capital one leadership. The synergy with the cash back bonuses allows my wallet lose a little bit of health but boy does it out out some damage. Visa has relic 7 btw and then I have GAS just because.

People enjoy the game and do have an idea on this. However, with all the random bugs in this game and how it works this isn’t exactly front page material and I have never seen it addressed anywhere. It’s an excellent video and needs to be explored in depth for the community. Kudos to mobilegamer for posting a video that the majority of people that know all these are extreme P2P and in monster guilds. I hope he sticks with this topic.
This is something that the Devs need to make clear immediatley.
I’m a month into the game and I’m glad I learned this now.
I place my squads in an order in which I'm comfortable with them on the screen, for example, in my Jedi Line-up, I'd have Yoda in position 2 so that he is visible and easier to control. Its very easy in this game to have one character cover up another character and thus you could accidentally press on another character and make a duff move.

So true! I've tested this time and time again. Placement actually does work and matter. It's insane. This has been the difference between unlocking characters and not coming close.
Question: How do the in game mechanics work for determining who's attacks land first on mass assists and who takes damage first from aoe attacks, and how does the squad order affect this?
CG: Uhm.. it's very complicated... all of those things matter... (We don't really know, our code is so messed up, it's random for all we know....)

It's actually reassuring in that initial turn order is not dictated solely by who has best speed mods (luck of draw).
They likely don't even know how it works themselves.
many games are developed in this way and takes a community effort and the imagination of theory-crafters to find all these little nuances that make the game-play challenging and/or easier. As much as I agree that the developers for this game are far from "professional", this still stands as normal game design. This is what I've always thought that separates gamers from people that just play games.
I suspect that team order also plays a part in match RNG generation. If I had to guess it deals with the rng seed generation. If you have a distinct turn order and no assist/revive. You can run a match, in my testing with galactic wars, can run a match. Close out before wining/ loosing and fight the same exact team again. If you do the same actions each time the match plays out the same. However just changing team order and running again. Using same actions in same order. Rng checks will play out different, such as status effects sticking or being resisted, evasion etc.
Found that out awhile ago, glad someone else noticed, the fact it'll play out the exact same is some stupid shit
This blew my mind! I had no idea squad order made that much of a difference. I mean, I heard about the Fives thing but I just thought that was a bug...
I just did the geonosian trick with sun fac in #2 slot. It allowed me to unlock Padme with no droids. Granted Brood had two zetas, but I had always heard no Padme without heavy droids. Might still be true for 7*, but to have her and General Kenobi, jka, and ahsoka, I am felling pumped about trying it out in GA or TW.
I've done some testing with bounty hunters and it doesn't always seem to go in placement order; Zam won't gain turn meter from popping TD's if the target is dead before she hits them. Her attack will always land last (from what I've seen), even if she's in the second slot.
There might be some characters with hard-coded turn order.
This is great. I just got through one more phase of "Secrets and shadows" by simply moving Daka to the second spot

Once you get updated information can you do this list again and can you go through every single team and what is the best order for every single team
If its zombies unique for nightsisters couldn't you put her second for the tenacity down for Daka's stun or does that not matter when it's a 75% chance to inflict stun? I never really know when it comes to that so just wondering.

It doesn't make a huge difference but tenacity down gets applied even if the target has got tenacity up, so if Geo Soldier attacks before Sun Fac, Sun Fac can apply his Crit Chance down easier.
Saving this video to rewatch later when I can sort my teams. All this time I thought only the leader mattered.
It definitely affects positional placement when you go into a battle so I make sure I put yoda in the right squad spot so that he shows up right of revan in the front row. Given the assist to the wrong jedi too many times when I had yoda on the left side of jkr haha. Consider this for squads that have single assists, if you want the target ally to be easier to select
I hope MG follows up hard on this with multiple videos. This is the freshest content from a creator I’ve seen in ages. I know some , but I don’t know all. I’m always discovering something new

There are 3 mass assists on the padme team with 3p0. 3p0 gk as you said and padmes kick is also a mass assists

So I'm wondering now what order my Qi'ra team should go in. Or does it not matter since I set them on defense? Are all of the teams he mentioned teams that he's using on offense?

My squad placements (for some teams) have been based on getting small characters closest to the camera so they aren't hidden behind taller characters. Now I need to change that? If I have trouble selecting BB8 or GMY for assists, I am going to change back, optimal assist order be damned.
You'll want BB-8 in the second slot (ie closest to camera) anyway due to giving tenacity down on basic.

This is all well and good for squad arena and attacking in any mode. But isn't it important to set leaders up in descending order? For example on my revan team I have revan 1, hk-47 2, thrawn 3, then sith trooper and bastila. This is so that on defense hk-47 will become the new leader if revan dies on their first attempt and they have to attack my team a second time. Does this even work this way?

According to some change that happened not too long ago - apparently it doesn't matter what order I put them in as they seem to end up in the exact same place...
In the jkr revive example it makes sense that the second slot would be revived because the leader is doing the reviving. In the nightsister example isn’t it possible that the leader would get revived instead of second slot.
Excellent video on a topic I haven’t seen addressed in any other forum except live streams in quick passing because it seems people that know don’t want anyone else to have this information. Do you have a published list of the squads you use for 5v5 and 3v3? I always have a tough time keeping up with decent squad choices. It also helps me figure out farming. Any help is appreciated.
Time Narc I think we need to work on the issue at hand of 5v5 squad placement. There are tons of counter charts for teams and you can apply this info to those counter teams
I think Nightsister Zombie should be 2nd then Daka, since Zombie can apply tenacity down first from Mother Talzin's mass assist.
I mean, the dev response makes sense. Blasters will probably hit faster than a melee attack, and bug fixes and stance upgrades could matter (faster footsteps for melee attacks). This may always change.
And what about in the fleet contents? And if yes, Fleet placement is important, witch slot is the first, second, third? @MobileGamer
Is Asajj lead better than MT? I have both with the leadership zeta but idk which would be better as a defensive team in GAC
i always lked mothers lead but seems everyone else leads to assaj i know in raids assaj is better but say in arena i think mother is better

What determines turn order if all units have 100% turn meter? Also, I went against a mirror match of Han Solo vs Han Solo. My Han was faster but the other team’s han went first with it’s shoot first unique, stunning my (Faster) Han?!?

i don;t get it.. i play with Shaak Ti and clones in arena vs Darth Raven and echo or rex gets shocked and fives sacrifice himself but doesnt apply his unique even if he's in the 5th slot... so he dies for nothing even if he has full hp

Great video but I’m a little confused. It sounds like your turn order depends on what order you place them in before battle however I thought that’s where speed comes in.
BonesJones159 on things like mass assists, revives, etc. speed is irrelevant. Turn order certainly matters on squads, but this is a whole different animal.

I understand ns, jkr teams etc. But for ones like padme..isnt your speed and tm order gonna play a part? Wont make a diff if you've set gk c3 to be fastest then anakin,ahsoka and lastly padme.

I would assume that the counterattack order would be the same as the assist turn order.. leader first, then 2nd slot, etc..

in the FO team with Hux and Sith Trooper, you want Kylo before Panda. That way Kylo will debuff and Panda will crit and gain advantage

Hi MG. Question... what would the best order be for a FO Hux Lead with the guaranteed counters ?
2. Unmasked puts down a guaranteed tenacity down, 3. then Phasma has Defense down if you run her, Kylo if you don't for the heal block and dot. Sith Trooper last as he will likely attack twice from someones crit, and he only applies a self buff. The others depend on your build but mostly don't matter
If you play both teams, then
First team:
KRU, kylo, FOO, Phasma and FOX
Second Team:
Hux, FOT, SE, Tie and Sith Trooper
If you play only 1 Team
Hux, KRU, Kylo, FOT , Sith Trooper

Just recently got 5's Zeta and used a Clone team in STR. Cody died and there was no sacrifice which had me confused. Ill try this and do more testing to make sure. Great timing on the video lol
Sacrifice only works with 501st tag ie: Echo, Rex and ARC

First time I heard/read that placing is important. I'm still playing the game after many years, but I don't even care enough anymore to switch squad order.
