I made this channel for my students with our online distance learning. I didn't know that it'll transcend this far... assisting more students/curious minds. Thanks for the appreciation!

Hi there! Yes I am. ❤️
I'm so glad to know that I helped you. I initially made this channel for my students as an aid to their learning process as they adjust to online distance learning. I didn't know that it'll transcend this far... assisting more students/curious minds. Thanks to your kind words for you inspire me to do more. #ForTheLoveOfMath

How we can calculate 'a' inverse?
what is the easiest way to calculate inverse of any number?

@@FortheLoveofMathFLM is the key po could be any number under mod 26 that has a gcd equal to 1??

If you're encrypting affine cipher, you have to be careful with the key to use. Notice that later on for decrypting, your "a" should have "an inverse modulo".
Thus, for your key (a, b), your "b" can be any number but your "a" is restricted to those numbers that have an inverse modulo 26. Consequently, your "a" can only be those numbers listed in 9:03. So definitely, your "a" should be a number that is "relatively prime" to 26, equivalently, has a GCD equal to 1. I'm amazed you're getting the gist of my video. Thanks for watching!
