フィンランド人とフィンランドのオーケストラでなければ純粋なフィンランド・サウンドとは呼べない、そんなこだわりがあるなら、この演奏が最右翼だろう。シベリウスを得意とする指揮者と楽団による“お国もの”だけあって、この曲に対する彼の国の人々の熱い思いがストレートに伝わってくる。
