fuelpump problem and how to fix zx6r 2000 j1

If you have fuelpump problems try this before tossing it and buying a new one. A tiny spring had fallen out of its place abit so the whole circuit was stuck. This is probably why my fuel pump relay died. I shouldve removed the pump right away and checked it instead of stressing the relay with several start ups.

I was frying here about the position of that spring coil... the contacts keep closed, not oppened!

Is there a way to test relay?

I guess with a multimeter? But you can test; if the pump works like this, but not on the bike, the relay is probably dead.
