I agree bro... hearing this album is like listening a compilation.. a kind of the best of.. each song looks like the main song on the album..already waiting to next one..
@@julianbeck2408 I also wouldn't underestimate the benefits of a mic stand and good posture. Being grounded and stable is really important when singing
Song is a banger and definitely the best of the new album so far but i don't get why Anders keeps doing these choruses when it's pretty clear that he can't sing them live. Instead of singing he just screamed with a backing track here
@@maaaaaap Technique plays a huge, if not total, factor into it, but age, constant touring, interviews ALL take effect over the years. Anders most likely utilizes proper techniques while singing to prevent damage, but you cannot use any technique to undue time. Perhaps I should've have expanded my original statement to include that, so my apologies, but even though he still uses proper techniques, time has done a number on his voice.
@@ThePredsedatel a bad joke tbh, Wintersun plays unreleased songs live all the time and people just stand and watch, because their stuff is always a lot to take in the first time
@@brotherfiretribe9566 yeah. Just saw them live. Chris is beast so there was no problem. I was actually hoping they'd play stuff like "Another day in quicksand", "The Hive" or "December Flower" because Chris could actually play those solos lol. Too bad they didn't
He can sing live I’ve seen them live ... he doesn’t always try full on singing every song idk why he just choses not to he does it so he can scream more ... and have the power to
i see hes touring with his white epiphone again. I literally just bought his model, it has a bottle opener on the back lol. Can't wait for the album recording of this to jam along.
@@niklasbauer6489 Fuck the clean chorus. It sounds way heavier with growls and i like it very much! The best example is Wallflower from Battles. Very underrated song because the studio version is fucked up but it sounds so great live (watch In Flames - Wallflower Hellfest 2017 ).
Voices in one of best releases from in flames of the last decade
I agree
Hell yeah. It has the Borders and Shading vibe to it. I fucking love it
It was epic in the concert
Voices, follow me, i'm the mask and absolutely best "DEEP INSIDE"

Damn, Anders vocals are really good. Few years ago they were little worse, but now they are awesome.
In a making of "I, The Mask" he recently said that he is now doing breathing exercises since a few months. Maybe that helped.

am I seeing Chris Broderick? he is such an amazing guitarist
kicked out of megadeth. Now he is playing for 1000 dollars.
@@reardeltoit4644 He left megadeth asshole!
Thanks a lot for sharing! Can't wait to see them live next month!
Sounds f*cking great, this is gonna be a killer album
it sounds like in flames go their balls back with this song hopefully the album is just as good
If getting their balls back is all about more screaming then I don't really understand what you mean. Even Siren Charms had some ballsy songs then.
@@Revert1989 this song sounds like a come clarity kind of heavy, siren charms is soft as fuck & was the biggest pile of shit in flames ever released,
@@dynamo4543
I agree with you on Siren Charms: worst album they've ever released.
This is the best song on the new album I've heard so far
I think the album is almost perfect but at least more 4 or 5 tracks is so good as this one here...

Instead of singing he just screamed with a backing track here
Its been like that for the last three albums. Sounds great live and like shit on the album. Imo. Wallflower is a prime example.
Really? I think, through all the years of him destroying his chords, that he still sounds fantastic.
Eh I feel like I, The Mask is the best by a long shot. That chorus with the guitar riff is just so catchy.
+cory growling isnt supposed to destroy chords, i think he knows the right technique, he just isnt a very good clean singer

CHRIS FUCKING BRODERICK. Now maybe they'll play some older stuff with the technical solos :)
Let’s hope the rest of the album is this good. It’s been better than Battles so far.
Chris makes any guitar look tiny
This album will kickass :)
Broderick is a fkn Machine.. Nicely Done. >:)>
Da fuck?! Is the other guitarist chris broderick?!
this sounds perfect! my In Flames is back!
We can't sing along unreleased songs:p
You would make for a shitty Wintersun fan

Qué maravilla de grupo.... nobles herederos de los primeros Metallica.
This is so fucking awesome! In flames baby!
Last night there was amazing! Can’t wait for Under Subsidence to play here!
Oh shit!! Somebody got his live growls back!!! I have a feeling their next album is going to be heavier than this one 👍
"Written on these walls"... the guys know how to make unforgettable lines with a cool riff behind...
This sounds great! Thanks for posting. 4 of the 5 songs I’ve heard from I, The Mask are killer guitar driven tracks. Really looking forward to it.

Rene Rehme well, because he cant sing the chorus like on the studio version.......
