C3 the best of the Corvette body styles, I like this one. Get them now because you can't find them very soon.
my kid's college family weekend was this past weekend and i was FINALLY able to make the trek up to Hendersonville and check out the lot. It was dark and the last remaining guy in the office didn't seem to mind us poking around. Felt like i'd already been there 100 times just due to your videos. Loved it

I love these body style corvettes! They're just too underpowered from the factory. A nice 6.0 or 6.2 LS swap would make this a screamer or just build the 350.

Yes, if handy, $250 in parts will really bump the power and MPG up... maybe that has already been done, the engine is not stock... carb. not stock... has tubular exhaust headers...

I like that green interior, got a heavy exhaust leak on the driver side pipe they have 2 muffler clamps trying to hold it back but the pipes insert in the wrong direction, would probably run allot nicer if fixed but a nice car.

No real easy way to know for sure. I guess opening the doors and lifting them up and down to check for movement in the hinge area not to be confused with worn hinges which it might also have.
Nice Vette, but prefer 71-72. Plus the first thing to do is convert those pop-up headlights to electric
Nope, the vacuum is easy and works great and when it doesn't usually a cheap fix. There's a reason Chevrolet went to vacuum from electric in 68.

@@gump1005 - Yeah, late 1980's Vette under $7K would get better gas mileage and power...
Figure $1.00 per mile on the cheap end to maybe $1.50 per mile so Nash to Tulsa probably $600 to $900 although $600 probably too cheap these days.
CORVETTE NEEDS NEW HEADS AND GASKETS SPARK PLUGS AND WIRE'S. IT'S JUST LOW COMPRESSION IN THE ENGINE. THE ACCELERATION IOF HIGH SPEEDS IS TO SPIN OUT THE REAR TIRES OTHER THAN THAT. IS A GOOD VEHICLE

It came with a Turbo 350, the Turbo 400 last used in 77 so it's likely one of those two.
87 octane is not good for this car, as it calls for 91 at the best for this cars minimal fuel octane. Look at the book as for as what it needs to run by.
Made for 87 octane stock... this modified engine may need something else...
Most people will run cheep gas in these cars and I know this is not the best thing for them.
