God I remember finding Mark mid 2013 and from that point on he was kind of a role model to me, and I'm ficken 19. It's been amazing to see him grow so much while almost never changing who he is and to this day his 1 million subscriber video makes me tear up.
There's only one criticism I have of this video: the time he spent with Cyndago. Now, I don't know if you purposely steer away from heavy topics or not as I don't watch this channel regularly, so if that's the case, then this comment serves virtually no purpose. This comment is also pointless if you're trying not to bring up the stuff between Mark and Ryan & Matt. I understand if that's the case. I'm not saying to do a video on Cyndago, but I was wondering if you'd at least mention this channel as Mark has done a fair amount of collaborations with them back when they made videos. Heck, everyone from September 2015 remembers how depressing a time that was when we learned about Daniel & the hiatus that took place. Call me "triggered", but I feel that glossing over those early years that Mark & Cyndago worked together makes this brief history a little empty. I don't know if you expected a comment like this or not, but you can pretty much tell that those were my favorite times when I used to watch Markiplier. Just my little bias, nothing crazy.

Watching this really makes me glad to see people advance and evolve. Mark has went through so much but he made the world a better place simply by being himself and persevering through the hardships. But he did it. He deserves all he got and he got all that he deserves.
I just stumbled upon this channel and I've watched a couple of videos already. I must say I love how well spoken you are and how you speak so positively of every person you do a history video on. It's refreshing to see that you don't speak out of hate and don't use the youtuber's past drama as a means to get more views. I will be subscribing!
As one of marks original subscribers it’s awesome seeing the videos that are mentioned and knowing exactly which one he’s talking about and naming them just by the backdrop and setting. It’s really awesome that mark was able to go from such a small following to where he is now
I have been with markimoo since the very beginning, and it's been a fun ride so far, and I think it's not going to end anytime soon. Mark has been an amazing inspiration. He basically was the only person on this planet who cared about me. I have never met him in person, but I feel like he's my best friend.

It was at the 750K to 1M subscriber area, where he saw how fast he was growing and started making videos he thought that his viewers wanted to see and not what he wanted to make. Most notably of that time frame was him playing multiple fan games, with one giving him a brick wall retrospective on his entire youtube career, a compilation of his milestones edited together into a message of thanks. Something that, I think, is one of the most notable times he's gotten emotional and marked the start of him not only making promises, but actively trying to fulfill those promises to the best of his ability. Watching this was amazing, I discovered Markiplier in my recommended videos when he only had 72,000 subscribers. It was his very first Amnesia let's play. I think it was 2012, because it was my very first semester of college. It's impressive to see how much he's grown since then! I've graduated and I'm still a fan.

I love how it gets kinda hard to pick out bad things about Mark. He's so generous and dedicated to not only his channel but to his friends and community. Even when something DOES seem to go wrong, Mark is quick to do his best to make it right, whether it be fixing the issue or apologizing and owning up to it. That's why it's so cool to see Quick Histories like Mark's, where we get to see upward progress of a now "famous" person instead of a reality TV show style Drama Alert video.

How about a Brief History of Seananners? aka Adam Montoya: One of the first big youtube gamers that is still growing even now. He pretty much caused the surge in popularity of minecraft and is still a symbol of funny gameplay today along with sark and their whole branch of youtube gamers
I remember when he had 10k subs. I remember screaming to my mom years ago when he hit one million subscribers 😭💜 just the other day we were talking and mom told me she remembered me being so excited for him. I remember it all. This is the one youtuber I have stuck with for years.
It is true that Mark owes so much of his channel growth to FNAF and I feel that's why he continues to play clones and stick by loyalty to the game series. But not only that, he is loyal and caring towards his subscribers and friends and truly appreciates them all, and that to me is what makes him amazing 🙂
