    Wow! Your Video is so inspiring and calming. Great work!
    I know the situation but for now my only Tele is the 18-135 and that's too far for those kind of shots. Maybe one day I get this lens.
    Thank you for this moment.
    Greetings Michael

    Fantastic video and so well put together and narrated. I could feel the tension toward the end and then . . . the perfect shot! Thanks so much for putting so much effort into the making of your videos.

    Cheers fella, total novice invested in my first decentish camera (Sony a6000) and while looking for review on tele lens had pleasure of watching this. Very much what I plan to be doing, likely often fruitless mooches around the not so sunny south east of Ireland trying to capture the wildlife....you've helped me decide to plum for the e70 - e350 good luck on your future rambles 👍

    Hell yeah, I knew from the start you would make it! And BOOM, what a majestic and proud exemplar you caught there! Was the 3rd video of you I watched (2 reviews of the A6700 before). Helped a lot with my decision! BTW, the title says "SONY 6400"

    I use an a6000 and 55-210mm kit sony lens and I just can't auto focus, it will only sharpen lets say the eye of the bird and none of the feathers. I also as a result manual focus and lose my shot half the time as bird has flown away. How is the a6400 with the 70-350mm focus and the sharpess of getting the whole body of a bird?

      Can i ask you what mode your taking your photos in?
      Sounds like the aperture is very low.

    • @xbriskx
      @xbriskx Рік тому +1

      @@TheCameraManReviews I just use shutter priority with the Sony 54-210 kit lens. I always thought I should use lowest aperture for bokeh and to get the light. Maybe that's why or the camera auto focus system is so old and crap.

    • @TheCameraManReviews
      @TheCameraManReviews  Рік тому +2

      @@xbriskx I would suspect it is a combination of low aperture and the lens. The camera should be fine.
      I would try Manual mode, Auto ISO, SHutterspeed of 1/250 and an aperture of F8.
      Take the photo in good lighting and let me know the results.

    Nicely done! Pssst, even though we know you filled the story in after already getting the actual shot in earlier. ; ) i have the a6600 with 17-135mm but aim picking up the 70-135mm this week. Thanks for the nice post! Cheers from NYC. Happy Holidays!

    Thank you for the awesome showcase! Have you been to Richmond Park? There are many deers and I was literally within 10 meters away. Had to be real patient though😊

    I’ve recently made the move to mirrorless and got my first Sony A7iii.
    Really been enjoying getting out shooting with it.
    Available funds had me go for the A7iii body with a Tamrom 28-75 and 17-28.
    I’m really happy with these lenses, but I certainly do need something a bit longer.
    I was looking at either a second hand Sony 70-200, or the Tamron equivalent which is 70-180.
    This lens yoir using here looks really interesting so I may have to give it a consideration. It’s all down to funds really.
    Cheers.

      Just be aware that this lens is for APSC and you have a full frame camera so you won’t use your entire sensor

    You were certainly rewarded for your efforts!!
    I’ve just bought the same 70-350 lens for similar situations as we recently visited an amazing animal park in Belgium but the 18-135 just wasn’t up to the job.

    If I use the lenz 70-350 on crop [sonyZv 10) . Is it be native 70-350 or in equivalent ? 105- 525 ? How ?

    • @warmesuppe
      @warmesuppe 26 днів тому

      The lens is always 70 350. But if you are using it on a apsc camera you have to multiply with 1.5 to get the ff equivalent focal length.
      Its because the smaller sensor only sees a tinier picture than the fullframe camera and if you compare both images the apsc looks zoomed in, because you only see a smaller centered part.

    Hey thanks for the video and congratz to the nice shot! Im thinking about buying the 70-350 lens too for similiar situations (capturing Animals (in the woods)) while using my Sony A6400. Can you still recommend the lense for this kind of situations or do you miss more focal length some times?

    if u had soft deerskin moccasins on your feet, it would have made the whole stealth surprise the Stag shoot much easier. of course, that's the North American way, not the UK. i guess, if u had knightly british leather boots, that would have worked too.

    what about the tamron 18-300 apsc lens? how does it compare to this lens ?

    • @davidnorwich3771
      @davidnorwich3771 4 місяці тому +1

      The Tamron is a full frame lens. However if you use it on an aspc body (or a full frame camera set to crop mode) it gives you 112 - 480mm. the Sony 70 350mm aspc lens gives 560mm at the long end. When using any lens on an aspc camera multiply what it says on the lens by 1.6 to get the focal length when used on an aspc body. Why Sony don't say that on their aspc lenses is a mystery to me? The Tamron is a very light zoom lens that gives you very nice sharp images. I have one myself and use it on an A6700 and a A7RIIIA.

    • @warmesuppe
      @warmesuppe 26 днів тому

      @@davidnorwich3771For the crop factor for canon is 1.6 but for anyone else including sony it's 1.5
