Well it's funny how some patients are back to sprinting, wrestling, fighting, backflipping, dancing, biking, skateboarding, and soon parkouring but yeah you must be right 🤷♂️
Dr Donghoon, probably the most experienced and respected Surgeon in the east said and I quote "If aiming for 100% recovery for playing football, sprinting the surgery's success rate is very low" which is the professional way to say the success rate for returning to post OP athleticism is close to 0%... I'm confused on why you go against this and sell the idea that its very possible and achievable if they just try hard enough!! when thats just not the case...(according to one of the best)
Because I’ve seen patients do it. Has He done the surgery? Does he know anything about nutrition? How to optimize fast twitch muscle fibers? What about proprioception and biomechanical balance metrics? And further more when a surgeon lengthens patients beyond the recommended maxes in bone segments and then says a statement like that it is nullified. Not to mention the outtraining principle. Patients or prospective patients like you make everyone who has potential to make it back with proper training fall embarrassingly flat. Plus there are surgeons who’ve taught him who have patients who have done things on video that I’ve seen that would blow your mind. So I’ll stand by my video thanks.
@@Cyborg4Life since I dont know any better I would still side with the surgeon since I put more weight on his credentials especially since hes going "against business" with statements like that I appreciate your response alot on such a old video, can I ask have you ever been affiliated with any of those lengthening clinics or approached for collaboration? You speak so highly of it and in my opinion understate the potential downsides that I wonder what the motivation is besides yt ad revenue
Ok your choice I guess it will be even more of a shock when rehab, recovery and rebuilding protocols get better and better in the coming years. The problem is when a surgeon or other patients say you can’t make it back to high level of recovery then people stop short and that’s the problem. Also patients often over lengthen. Many of his patients over lengthen even though he’s a good surgeon some patients shouldn’t go over 5cm on femurs and others can hit 8cm with no problem and the same is proportionally equal for the tibias. All I’m saying is the surgeons are not rehab specialists and they are even further removed from being biomechanic and high athletic performance experts so they are often misinformed themselves. I’m not saying you should go for pro sports after LL in fact you shouldn’t but I’m saying you can get to a very high level of functionality after LL using the “outtrain principle” just promise me when you start seeing amazing results from patients who do lengthening and perform at a high level you don’t forget this. In fact I’ll make a video with this comment so thanks. And the answer is of course clinics have approached me before usually for interviews and a few for other partnerships but not the top ones. Usually those like the most popular ones with videos all over online and I’m sure you could guess what my answer was. The reason I am doing this is because of unfinished business in the industry - the standard of care, stigma and overall misinformation is too great. I want to leave the industry better. Also I’m building a portfolio so as I branch out into other biomedical spaces I have practice in creating such a platform. And yes I respond to all comments that warrant a response and I responded here so that patients who see this can know where I stand that with safe surgery, not over lengthening, doing proper and consistent rehab and rebuilding strategically you can make a phenomenal recovery regardless of what the surgeons who know next to nothing about athleticism, nutrition and have negligible body awareness. I have had multiple orthopedic surgeries and have recovered phenomenally well and don’t say it’s because of my genetics…there’s a system and it’s not a secret it just needs more exposure and surgeons - if they are saying things like this - aren’t making it any better. All I can say is stay tuned ; )
@@stefanvoigt6983 Agree with you, Doctors are not gods but they are far better than anyone to make conclusions on such surgeries. Only 1% of the recoveries are being posted online, the surgeons themselves are the one who has knowledge of the remaining 99%, and their conclusions are based on every single aspect. They have all theoretical, practical and even experimental knowledge behind this surgery. Infact all other surgeons except some turikish surgeons probably have the same conclusion. Dr Donghoon is open about it.

Plus I'm an elite athlete so my case is not typical. And one thing - you will never find me encouraging anyone to do this surgery. I'm just sharing information. If you find me saying - go get the surgery done let me know
@@Cyborg4Life You seem to avoid the most pertinent question: as an 'elite athlete' have you restored and/or surpassed your past capabilities?
@@blahbleh5671 if you train harder than you have before even if your body has been "altered" yes, you will be better than before and surpass your previous abilities which I was able to do. Many others have but the percentage that surpass is small (less than 10%) and about 50% get back to and about 40% of patients are slightly less capable than previously
I'm thinking about lengthening my right tibia, as it is approximately 17mm shorter due to left leg outgrowth after an accident. Should I do it? If I do, will my athletic potential be better, now that my legs are equal length? I'm trying to research to see if the advantage outweighs the disadvantages.
Hard to say for sure, but getting a 17 mm lengthening shouldn’t take very long and you should recover very well so it should be a fast turn around
Hey cyborg, im just looking into this now and I have a question, can you do the femoral and tebis at the same time simultaneously?
Yes but spread out by a few weeks is required
I don't need limb lengthening now, a new girl I'm into is 5'6 and she has bigger feet than my 6'2 crush. And, I actually have a chance with her, because I'm 5'8, and she likes my face / jawline. Pce
Nice. So there's a 3 way scenario? Wish you the best!
What about combat sports? Like MMA TRAINING
Many have gotten back after a year or more of healing and rehab and rebuilding
You can watch videos with the big muscled guy who had the surgery. :)
Ohh?
hello there bro, im a big fan of your channel and i have a few questions. im 5'7 and want to gain 3 inches. i play football ( soccer in the usa) at a decent level nothing serious like professional. i wanted to know if I can reach my athletic abilities with all the pt and training done after surgery. Can i reach the levels of agility, technique and athleticism before the surgery with only 3 inches of height gain?
I can't say for sure as every patient is different. Is it possible - yes with time and specialized training. The easiest way is to do a more conservative amount of length to recovery optimally
Of what certain max age u shouldn't have a limb lengthening?
When you have health issues that force you to not get it done safely
@@Cyborg4Life Thanks, but how about if a person taking a blood thiner like a baby aspirin for post op heart surgery that is done a few yrs ago.Do u think it is also a no no for LL?
Will I be able to play casual sprinting and jumping sports like football, basketball (not professional) just.
You could yes. It will take time and lots of rehab and rebuilding over the course of 2 years
bro if i do execises and all things will i get my full athlesism back?
Hard to say I don't know what you can do now
I hope you can see this. I’m an Ironman and tennis player competitive level both sports. I’d like to gain 10cm with precise method with livelifetaller, I’m just worried about not being back to my level because I’d want to keep competing. I mainly want to do it because of reach in tennis. I’m 35 but I recover quick from soreness or injuries, any thoughts???
Yeah I'd think twice about this. Email me
I talked to my doctor in turkey and we agreed on increaseing tibia bone by 6 cm, You think it is safe?
I would say lengthen 1cm at a time and see if you can avoid complications.
I mean no one seems to talk about how your knees look from outside don't they look off because your thighs is stretched not from knees down
Hey cyborg is it possible to do 1½ inch for a quadrilateral treatment and heal withing in 2months? So in total just 3 inches
No that’s unlikely because it takes more time to heal the bones heck it’ll probably take that much time just to lengthen about
Does this surgery make your feet grow
Can you do squats after the surgery???
Yes if you heal well and do it safely but will need to learn a new squatting style
Is it possible to keep the nail inside without removal?
If it's a trauma nail but not a magnetic nail no
Thank you for all your videos and dedication to raising awareness on this subject! Can I ask if you're doing a bilat lengthening, do you have to use a wheelchair immediately after surgery?
It depends on the nail capacity you get it done with. But usually walker right away and wheelchair for long distances
@@Cyborg4Life That's amazing. Thanks for your reply! Do you have any videos for recommendations on where to get the procedure done?
Im 5'4" i work in heavy construction, o feel like limb lengthening is out of the question. I can't take 6 months off. As a short man you can never win, if you're successful you're condidered a napoleon. If you cant do its beacuse youre too short.
i have low budget can i use lon method and take your course
I don't recommend the LON method
@@Cyborg4Lifemay i know why?
The main function of muscles is movement..
I want to increase my 8 cm which is best tibia or femur Lengthening
Femurs all day
But why femur @@Cyborg4Life
I don't know if i would be able to play on the tennis court with same flexibility and speed, after the surgery??🥺
There’s no guarantees but if you are worried lengthen conservatively and rehab well and you most likely could do everything you are now
Can someone keep having leg lengthening surgery until they are one of those anime people who are 8 feet lol or slender man
Lol no not recommended
Thanks man
Any time
Im in the phase of getting the walk normal, climb stairs, get up from bed/chair unassisted and my knees are killing me!
Will they ever recover 100%, any advice?
That's the same thing many patients tell me that their knees hurt for about 2 months after they begin to walk upstairs and from deep seated positions. But one patient I recently talked to who's coming up on his rod removal said at around 10 months he has no pain or stiffness whatsoever - lengthened 7cm on femurs and is doing well overall with perfect walk.
How are your knees now man? Have you been in touch with your doctor about it? What do they say?
before CLL (8cm femur) could squat only 60 kg, but after (one year later) can only squat bodyweight (sore knees, weak thighs) and keep tipping forward as my thighs are too long.
Yeah you’ll have to take a wider stance unless you get your tibias done too. You watch this - Biomechanics after limb lengthening surgery - (squats, deadlifts, running)

Will Victor ever get LL?
Silly fish I already have
@@Cyborg4Life I mean for cosmetic reasons.. You got it for discrepancy right? so it was only one leg lenghtened?
Maybe idk depends if I feel the need for height again badly enough
I’m 5,2 and I was thinking of lenghting my femurs by 3 inches to be a normal height of 5,5
I’m 18 and a combat sports athlete I want to know if I will be able to recover quicker because of my healthy status
Very good question. Should have a new video next week that answers that - spoiler - yes
Bro, im 5'5", and it sucks. Go to 5'8", and you'll be mildy short.
Where are the clinics in Mexico? Burley too far. Us too expensive
I'm not familiar with any in mexico
Yeah guys you can totally get back your athleticism after essentially breaking your bones and putting them out of alinement, just trust me bro its worth the extra 3 inches of height bro
Well it's funny how some patients are back to sprinting, wrestling, fighting, backflipping, dancing, biking, skateboarding, and soon parkouring but yeah you must be right 🤷♂️
Dr Donghoon, probably the most experienced and respected Surgeon in the east said and I quote
"If aiming for 100% recovery for playing football, sprinting the surgery's success rate is very low"
which is the professional way to say the success rate for returning to post OP athleticism is close to 0%...
@@Cyborg4Life since I dont know any better I would still side with the surgeon since I put more weight on his credentials especially since hes going "against business" with statements like that
I appreciate your response alot on such a old video, can I ask have you ever been affiliated with any of those lengthening clinics or approached for collaboration?

Nobody cares what you prefer
I'd rather be dead than being short.
Not being able to reach the top kitchen cabinet really isn't that big of a deal. I'd rather be short than poor, ugly, non white, low IQ, fat, poor health, gay, female, etc. Worse things out there.
Your USA centric you go to latin america or asia ... you can be too TALL i happen to be ... so becareful on the lense your looking in
it's symptomatic of mental disturbance when you're willing to sacrifice mobility just to able to write 6 feet tall on an dating app.
Many of these patients do it to feel better. Picking a good surgeon is very little risk. Plus they're sane and hard working
yeah, instead be treated like shit by society
