The Velcro strap is so good on these. Think all Velcro gloves should take this strap system, much more snug fit

I prefer the RB10. They are lighter and feel the same when hitting the heavy bag.

Let me be the first to say, if you’re a hard hitter do not buy these. I ordered the paint splash version of these and both started to tear where the stitch meets the d30 padding ((AFTER 3 months)). I sent them back and Melanny with rival customer service was able to get me a replacement pair. Same thing happened & I just tore the leather off and the d30 padding is now making direct contact with the bag lol. Too much money for these design flaw

Anybody else have issues with these fitting really tightly through the wrist? I have a pair in 10oz (they don't appear to offer a 10oz XL) and the wrist wont close properly because of how narrow they are even without wraps on.

Hello FitBox. I bought the Lomachenko gloves a couple of yrs ago and bought the Splash design. They're fantastic, I love the look of the Splash gloves and it's very minor but prefer the fit and effectiveness of the glove compared to the Lomachenko version. You feel very accurate with your punches. Is this all in my head or are there any significant differences in specifications compared to the earlier versions as they are 50quid more?

Do you think 8 Oz would fit me? With wraps on
    Hand circumference - 8"
    Closed fist circumference - 10"
Bottom of palm to top of middle finger - 7"
Tip of thumb to tip of picky - 7.5"

these are labeled 10 oz, but they def feel heavier than my 12 oz gloves. i know these discrepancies can be common on non professional/bag gloves. I weight them on a scale and they were 12 ish oz. Anyone have the same experience?

Yeah I got the 10oz matrix edition and one was 12 and one 12.5. Tbh I was pretty disappointed with the quality. It's been just around a year and Like the Velcro losing it's stickyness and the inside material in the fingertips is starting to shred. And i takke care of them dry them out properly, make sure my nails aren't long as that's tends to rip the insdes etc. For the price I paid I feel like it's definitely not worth over$ 200

I bought the matrix style around 1year ago. I hit the bag like 3-4 days a week and only use these like 1 a week. the velcro is already losing its stickyness and also the inside material feels so cheap and kinda loose. The material in the fingertips are already feeling like they are tearing inside. Very disappointed considering how expensive these were . I also have the rival rb50 bag gloves which i have had longer and were half the price and also have the d3 knuckle tech and leather and honestly they are a much better glove quality wise. The material inside isnt tearing and feels better and the velcro is still fully sticky. i use these a majority of the time on the bag. Maybe i just got a bad batch of the rfx ones cux i do recall they said they changed manufacturer due to quality concerns.

Hello! Nice video, I have a question, should I upgrade my rb50 for this? Would I notice a difference and it would be more protective and correcting?

    • @byee69
      @byee69 Рік тому

I have both and honestly the rb50 to me is a better glove for half the price. The matrix edition I got looks cool but the quality for double the price of the rb50 is not worth it. I posted my comments about my issues with them as well earlier so have a read. But who knows maybe the quality has changed now as I heard they switched where they are made.

They are my favourite glove but unfortunately they are not durable, 96 is a ridiculous score, these things start falling apart and the quality of the stitching is not great. VFM is also nowhere near 96 because of that

@@Fit2Box The glove that is protective enough but not too heavy to work on speed as well as power. I own 8oz velcro Winning gloves which I use on a heavy bag (I absolutely love their feel and compactness) - alternating them with 10oz Venum (Linares) and 14 oz Title (the latter feel like a pillow) from time to time - but I feel that I'm a bit restraining myself in delivering blows since I weigh more than 100 kg. I have heard that 14oz Winning are "pillow-like" and, unfortunately, there is no way I can try them on before buying. Should I settle for a lighter (say, 10 oz) Winning version? Recently these Rival dedicated bag gloves caught my attention but I never used Rival gloves before so a bit wary. I would like to get both but Rival costs about EUR 240 and Winning around EUR 500 (a custom version) so I should make some sort of compromise as I can't justify owning too many. Thanks for your kind advice!

Maybe a 12 oz winning glove would be the answer
Protection but also lighter gif faster hands
The intelli shock are super protective and based on fight glove size
Winning you will probably have to wait a considerable time to get so factor this in also
