Just imagine that Prime Maliketh is just a lore-accurate Maliketh. If he kills you, you have to restart your game from the beginning

Seeing him perfectly fight his own version of maliketh reminds me of the Final Fantasy 16 Reveal and one of the devs being godly at it showing boss fights

If you can't defeat your own boss without being hit, there's something fundamentally wrong with it.
@@zenixkiryu A lot of the elden ring bosses are designed quite awfully in terms of moveset, a lot of attack require you to no be there, compared to dark souls 3 which arguably had the best bosses, they were all fair and perfectly rollable. Fucking godskin noble has a 26 frame Aoe attack that just instantly gives you black flame, it comes out randomly and is unreactable, same with fire giant's eye breath and elden stars, those attacks just need such conditional spacing to not get hit by it, and it's not even a git gud moment it's just poorly design, I've always respected dark souls for how challenging but fair the game is, but now the game is quite a mess from its original roots. Still like it more than the other titles though overall
I’ve been saying this since I beat the game Malekieth would be the hardest fight if his second stage got a health refill
Meh, Maliketh wasn't too bad for me, and he has a moveset that is very intuitive imo Malenia as she is rn is by far the hardest boss, but if we were to make a boss have a full second ho bar, imo Mohg would stand out the most, his phase 2 is so overwhelming at times and his attacks have a lot of delays, plus bleed and the whole area on fire constantly.

@@BlackBladeSombra lol anyone who says that is honestly stupid and doesn't recognize the fact they die to random stuff she does 70% of the time, they just remember that other 30% of the time with that attack cause its what pisses them off. I figured out how to deal in just 5 tries and had to fight her for longer than any other boss in the series by about double... and that only took me 1h30min..
I’d love to see someone make a mod that just made all of the bosses always spam their most annoying or hardest to punish attack (i.e. maliketh always uses the triple range attack into leaping slam, malenia only uses waterfowl, radahn only uses the corkscrew attack, etc.)
I mean the mod does something like that for malenia and her dances, dividing each step of them into their own individual moves and interweaving them into her overall kit.
Yeah he still look pretty easy imo, the thing about him is that all of his attacks are some of the most telegraphed attacks in this game, he doesn't have any delay bullshit or lighting fast combo extention. Making him one of the easiest boss to learn

We’ve seen all the changes to the Godskins, the Crucible Knights, and now the Elden bosses, but I wonder if there will be expansions to smaller groups, like the Banished Knights, or the Fire Monks.
Just giving him more HP would be an amazing change

make his poise at least 160. The default Maliketh is so easy to stagger, that you cheese him to oblivion with certain Aows.

If it isn't already added I would love to see some ds3 dlc weapons like the frayed blade as they are some of the best in the series
Has his moveset been redesigned keeping the Blasphemous Claw in mind? It didn't come up in the video, so I'm curious if he's still parryable - it's the most fun part of his fight by far imo.

Hey this is so awesome, I’d suggest you change a bit more map design and item placements because there is like no point in early and mid game to explore since its the exact same as the vanila

I for one COMPLETELY second this idea. I always thought Radagon was too cool of a boss fight to only have a single phase. Meanwhile the Elden Beast feels not so much difficult, but frustrating and annoying. Perhaps both could even be improved by making them separate, yet back to back bosses, akin to Bloodborne's final bosses, where once you make it to the Moon Presence, you do not have to refight Gherman if you die, allowing both fights to be fully fleshed out bosses of their own. The Elden Beast would STILL need a fairly sizable overhaul beyond that, of course, but such a thing would definitely be a good start.

Can you still gain the Blasphemous Claw to counter some of his attacks?
In his defence, the air attacks aren't unpunishable with the blasphemous claw
as long as his instant anime vortex of death from neutral is removed, I'll be happy. but this game play does look like some phenomenal work

Nah instead of making him more vulnerable, id still love to increase his mobilities instead, such as increase the length of his aerial combos and increase his range also, since fighting maliketh is like im dancing with him, so i hope u guys can increase his HP and increase his Mobility also, the more challenge the more fun lol

He’s not the only one. Patreon mods aren’t illegal because theres a loophole. They’re selling access. Not the assets to make the mod. Technically anyone can learn to mod and do the exact same thing so it isn’t illegal. You’re paying for access to something that you can learn to do. People say it isn’t fair but games have gotten harder to mod these days. The methods are becoming more and more sophisticated. Modders have to support the game constantly, the bigger the mod the harder it is to fix when it gets broken when the devs update the game.

@@BlackBladeSombra The mod should be free whether it's in beta. From what I heard, selling mods as a paid monthly subscription is going against fromsoft rules since it using their assets and their work.
@@WiseOne93 You are late to the party mate, mods being paywalled behind Patreon in their early access state it's been around for years in the Skyrim Community. It's a great practice that gives the creators the tools and remuneration that they need to provide quality mods and it gives the community unique mods for free when its done, a win win situation if you ask me.
@@valen.barreiro Most of the skyrim big mods like skyoblivion is going to be free though and they have released some of their content on nexus already. Same as fallout 4, specially the capital wasteland project that got abandoned and they've released some of their content on nexus. They don't ask for donations from what they've said on discord 2 years ago when I asked if they would take my money donation for their effort.
Hopefully when this mod is finished in 2025 I will hop back onto ER, but at the moment the game is stale asf. I wouldn't mind if it was a yearly paid mod that you get to keep and then when the author adds more content in a year you have to pay for another year, but a paid monthly mod is a nope for me lol. I get why they need more money because for tools, software, programming, coding, concept art, effort and using their time to do it.
@@WiseOne93 That's perfectly fine, hope in when it's ready and gg, I mostly do that too, but there are a lot, and I mean A LOT of examples of this practice, for example, some of the mayor combat overhauls for Skyrim like MCO, some Jayserpa mods and a plethora of mods are behind Patron before they are realse on nexus, like I said, I see no problem in this practice.
