- We're walking a new trail today for our videos for treadmill and the cold crisp day makes for some spectacular views of the mountains. Making these nature virtual walks for treadmill makes my day. I love getting out and sharing these snow capped peaks with you. It's good for me and I hope for you as well.

Today we are in the Pine Creek area but following the George Lake Trail and looping over to the Pine creek Campground and back.
Thanks
Wow. Thanks so much Brett, I really do appreciate it. -H
This is a beautiful place. The mountains are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing with us. God bless you.
Hi Wendy, Thanks so much and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment. -H
Fantastic, once again, Henry (and Mel, with your recommendation👏🏻)!
I enjoyed you talking about the YAK Tracks (I smiled and told my son, "Hey! He is talking about my question from a previous walk").
There were many times on this walk that I wouldn't have probably walked it, with it being in the shade, icy looking, and a steep drop. 🫣😬💢😁
Loved 14.41 view!
48:22, just wow!
You had mentioned luge in your video somewhere along here. I have to share a tiny story. We were going up to get our "Charlie Brown" tree south of Darby, MT, and as we were driving up the icy logging road, I noticed we started going backwards. My husband didn't say anything, so I looked in the side mirror and noticed our tires were not moving!😳 I had asked him not to go up the icy road in the first place, because no tree is worth endangering our lives, right?! Well, I remembered that conversation that took place just moments before, as I saw us slidding backwards a good city block down the steep icy road! At one time I went to open the door to jump out,😳 and I was told quickly that I would surely get run over 😵 and to stay put! That scary day actually happened on my birthday, and I remember the thought of my tombstone🪦 having the same month and day, if this sliding backwards down a mountain didn't end well!🫣
🙈🙉🙊 Needless to say, I'm still alive! 👏🏻 It was one of those rare moments where I heard the words, "You were right!"
🙄😵💫😆🤪
Had to share that. 😁
54:04 (neat solo tree by road that added to the wow view). Simply stunning!
Thanks, Henry! 🌲🚶♀️ Always a pleasure to join you on these walks!👏🏻🎉

The landscape is perfect. It looks like a watercolour painting. So calming. One of my favourites yet. The lighting on those mountains is incredible and the trees definitely add to the festive feeling. Thanks Henry and seasons greetings to you and your family

Thank you very much Roger, and Merry Christmas to you too. -H
Hi Henry. Thank you for this walk and your previous nature walks this season. They've all been excellent. I really enjoy when connect ecological dots, its so important to understand that everything in nature plays a role. If you do more nature walks I hope you have some tidbits on how those roles change in cold weather. Take care.
HI Tom, Thanks so much. I'll have to go back and review some stuff about winter ecology. I read a great book about 15 years ago called Winter World: The Ingenuity of Animal Survival by Bernd Heinrich. I'll try to go back and re-read that. Just watched your Kingsland Bay walk. Beautiful stuff. Cheers. -H
As always, beautiful Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome Brinda. All the best and keep on steppin' _H

Hi Henry, thanks for another beautiful walk. I was hoping to be able to do one outside today, but by the time we got home from a funeral, iit was a cold mist coming down. So decided to get on the treadmill. Love your nature walks. Also who was the man from Hawaii? And who is Penelope?
Hi Opal. Sorry for your loss of course but I’m glad to a part of your fitness journey. @PhotoLukeHawaii is another walker. He does a lot of cultural stuff as well. Senator Penelope Fluffypants is our new cat. You can see her on my Christmas greeting from this year. She’s the best. All the best to you as well. Thanks for the comment and Keep on steppin’ -H
Why can’t I get this video to continue, it just stops
Hi Louis, Not sure. Have you tried reloading the page or restarting your browser. Hope that works. -H
*-H do you need to wear any special clothing to stay warm ? ...like thermal underclothing and spiked boots for grip...it looks really cold ! 😐*
Hi Terry, Funny you should ask. I SHOULD wear those things but some times I just forget. I had a long-underwear top and warm hat on this one and wore a neck gaiter. I wore winter boots and warm socks and lined carhardts. So, yes, I often do especially when it gets really cold. Thanks for the question. Cheers. -H
