    What a wonderful simple process of making an envelope without making my left and right side brain work overtime understanding the " how to's" of putting it together! I am nocturnal by Nature, so my most creative work is early in the a.m. ... whether it is painting my 5 x 7 cards, baking, or doing different mixed media in various ways. Thank you for the inspiration. I stumbled over this video and I am now a new subscriber😁👍

    Hi Dani. To save you a magnet, put a small washer in the bottom flap instead. Thanks for the inspiration on making these.☺

    I don’t remember seeing this tip before now so thanks for sharing (3 years ago). Yeah, I’m late to the party. I’ll be making some envelopes with the script going the correct way very soon. 💗

    Just came across this. Sorry you're up at 3AM! Just wanted to say you have a nice soft voice, good for watching videos. Some ladies, I can't watch them for long due to their pitch, modulation etc. You have a nice, soothing tone. Oh yes, and I enjoyed learning this envelope technique...lol

    Ty for the great idea. What do you use on your ink dober? I have the same one and use the pads it came with but they fix up and fall apart.

    I'm seeing this almost a year after you posted it and I've enjoyed it very much. You have a way of showing and telling that is helpful and reassuring. And you never, ever, have to apologize for anything (lighting). There are just a few folks with almost professional (and expensive) video set ups. You are doing (and so well) what most of us don't do, which is put ourselves out there to teach others. Kudos to you, and Merry Christmas 2018. Diane

    Thank you for this tutorial. I plan on making many envelopes from this! People always talk about sewing but I have yet to find anyone demonstrate it😳 i don’t have a machine but would like to buy one for crafting. Do you have any recommendations? I am interested in sewing paper, card stock and light fabrics only. Thanks again!

      Hi Kimberly, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I recommend a brother, any simple version of brother would do, specially is your not doing anything fancy with it. Walmart has some really nice ones that do all the jobs your looking for starting at about 69.00.😉

      49Nutmeg hi hun, hi hun, it all depends on the size of the envelope you want to make, this one is about five inches by 10.

    Love the idea, but you’d have to be careful no little children were going to have access to these, due to the danger of swallowing the magnets

    The point of my envelope is longer than the body. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I tried two different sizes of book pages. Help. I want to make these.

    • @Danigirl73
      @Danigirl73  5 років тому

      Lol...try narrowing the width of your page by an inch and see if that helps...let me know!😉
      Ps- ex: if your using a 6 by 10 page to start with...narrow it to a 5 1/2 bt 10.
