So i learned the hard way you cannot do this by hand and it's best to use a electric screw driver as the screws that go in at 4:36 are a tad long and you really need to crank down on them, aka impossible by hand When putting it back together @ 0:38 the 2 outer ones went in but not the middle one all the way, honestly is their a trick to putting these back in? Never in my life i have had an issue trying to get a screw in... Also the screws the hold the lid on are too short for a 2023 TiL @ 3:57 as you try and screw them in and they fall out when you close the lid.
@@danielmason8688 Didn't need them as the lid clips on, it hasn't moved or came out. The unit does creek a bit when putting your arm on it (just the lid) without the screws, them screws are too short as they will not catch. I kept all screws with the parts they came from so nothing got mixed up as well. Something isn't right. . .
Hello, sir. I need to replace the ball joints on my Patrol Y62 2013 model. Any recommendation for a reliable brands? I've been having trouble finding a good one, except for Roadsafe, which unfortunately only offers front ball joints. Thank you for your assistance.
Similar problems as NoOne56488 in the comments. The front screws under the leather were too short and wouldn’t reach the thread the plastic in the aftermarket section is slightly thicker then the rear part. I managed to find some screws at home and got it sorted. I did notice I had some supplied screws left over when I was finished, they had a slightly smaller head but wasn’t going to pull the whole thing back apart to try it. Kit comes with a bag of assorted screws but paper and video instructions give no information regarding what screws go where. Makes it a bit of a guessing game and a nervous build hoping you don’t get to the last piece and realise you have used the wrong ones.
Pretty bad at times, to be honest if i can find one that doesn't make noise i will be replacing this one. ( don't think it's possible, they look at the same so they come from the one place it seems )
Pretty easy to follow the video thanks legends. I would have been struggling without it 😂

Is everything the same for the Ti-L with the cooler box?
Yes the instructions suit both Ti and Ti-L, they also suit the sliding and non-sliding options. Cheers Adam!
How's the creaking with this?
