- If the Teletubbies had a fetish for cute colored retro-looking mini toaster ovens, this would be it. What initially caught our attention about this particular product was the cute retro design combined with the radiant color selections of aqua, pink, red, and yellow. After ordering one for ourselves, we decided to put the product to the test making/heating leftover sandwiches, pillsbury croissant, and sandwich pizzas. I love my Dash Mini Toaster Oven, and I use it daily. It's the perfect size for one slice of toast, and it makes the very best toast ever with my homemade bread. It's also really great for cooking deep-dish mini pizzas. I have also successfully used it to bake potatoes and other foods. Food does not necessarily burn on the top if the cook plans accordingly for the size of the oven and for the fact that the heat cannot be adjusted.

For the items YOU burned, just put foil over the top. It's not the fault of the oven, it's all down to the cook :)

You could always throw aluminum foil on top to prevent burns to food

what would this be like for heating frozen pies? they usually need about 40 mins cooking time

@@jmcattpisanodance6295 i ended up getting the mosh unit, a pie already defrosted that 2 lots of 15 mins on 750 heat to do well. dont use 1000 heat, or you start to burn the top pastry. the unit turns itself on off on off repeatedly, emulating a thermostat, but i think its more a timer, so if you open the door and it cool s a little, it wont switch back on just like that, nevertheless, works ok, even baked a few potatoes in it. the manual is in korean, and they cant supply one in english (mind you, i bought the mosh unit, not the dash)

This gets REALLY hot. Pretty much broils the food. Which can be good... I think you could actually cook a piece of salmon super fast.
On the upper right side edge of most cell phones is a volume switch. If you press the lower end of the switch the volume will decrease and you can stop blaming the video for your inability to operate the sound level on your devise. If viewing on a computer they the lower right corner, on your screen or upper right corner of your keyboard, I’m praying for you, and I believe in you!

I was thinking of getting one but now I'm kind of disappointed that it burns everything :(
The design is small and cute. The downside is you have to portion what you place in the over. Anything that is too big will get burnt. It does look cute tho. We'll give it that.
Just place a sheet of foil over your food. You don't even have to wrap it, just lay it loosely over the food. Just make sure the foil isn't touching the heating element. And look at some other youtube videos. People are baking chicken tenders and cakes in these Dash minis.

Yes you can. Just make sure your meat isn't too big that it comes into contact with the top of the inside of the oven. It will burn your food.
