Ribbon microphone drum test. Drum recording room at @ INRoK Studios. Sonor Kit

4 ribbon mics were placed at distance 2.2mtrs from the snare, 1.5mtrs above the floor aiming at the player to capture the whole drumkit. The video is NOT an endorsement as I own the gear!
Simultaneously recorded via my NEVE 5106 console at 48khz 24 bit(mono) with no FX, Eq, Compression to DAW nor treated on mixdown. No mastering done. The 4 mic tracks are labelled A,B,C,D, and the video presents only 1 mic at a time. Mic B and C use inline CUBE 5 Peach Audio ULN Preamp and the Mics A and D the Soyuz Launcher preamp.
All mics except STAGER SR 1-A part of INRoKs mic locker.

I love D on picked bright instruments(Qanun, dulcimer etc) as it never sounds harsh.
