    Wow this example is certainly more complicated than the one in the tax book that I studied, yet you made everything so easy to understand thanks to the visualization!!! You earned a subscriber!!! Hopefully, there are more topics to come in the future from your channel!!!

    Hi Sir, at 16:42, when calculating the Refundable Part I tax, guess the second item should be $18,400 (30 2/3%*($495,000 - $435,000)) instead of $60,000. Could you please confirm this? Thank you very much!

      Hi - do you know what if ERDTOH balance - ERDTOH Refund does not equal to $0, say it came out to be $10, should the NERDTOH refund use $22,910 or $22,900? Thank you.

      Yes you are right, a little late, but the amount should be 18,400 not 60,000

    I have a question on accouting or Journal entries. What is the JE for dividends tax refund when dividends are paid out and what is the JE to refundable taxes when eligible dividends received?

  • @TarannumKhatriCA
    @TarannumKhatriCA Рік тому

    Suppose company has not received any dividend and paid dividend to its shareholder, then eligible refund is 0. Cause NERDTOH is 0. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Would like to know how to deal with a T5 that only has box 25 showing taxable dividends?

    What if ERDTOH balance - ERDTOH Refund does not equal to $0, say it came out to be $10, should the NERDTOH become $22,910 or still $22,900?
