i've heard this song a thousand times...and it breaks me every time.!! one of the most beautiful songs in heavy music, eva's voice is just pure gold. love this band so much, they are criminally underrated.!

How did I bloody miss this?!?!?? One of a tragically few reasons to be proud of this country. Amazing band. First heard them live supporting Gojira. Amazing show. Fell in love. One of the few post bands to capture that dream/oceanic state feeling Isis always pulled out. Love it. Thanks for doing this song especially. Also, excellent hat Leann
Isis. That makes sense. Otherwise my scale of reference is just straight post-rock, without vocals.
@@patrickholt2270 I mean, they're a post-hardcore band: hardcore but with that post-punk dream state vibe over everything. Which is exactly what Isis did. And that was where the post-rock explosion evolved from too. Indie mags covering Neurosis and Isis a bit. Rollo Tomassi manage to encapsulate it far better than most and don't really sound derivative at all (unlike so many post-metal bands)
It's a song about having conflicts with someone and having to admit that you're wrong and trying to smooth things over.
i love this band. ive been a fan since 2008. theyve progressed so much over the years. their new album is FANTASTIC

Anything that gives this amazing band more exposure is most welcome. This is like the mid-ground for their sound combining the heavy with shoegaze-y parts and clean vocals. They can go even lighter (Opalescent) or heavier (Rituals).
