I grew up there. My grandparents live there. I can confirm i have experienced things- a glass flying off the bar at the Black horse, The little girl i used to play with, the upstairs was more frightening than the downstairs. The churchyard ive seen a see through lady walking around ... But she didnt see me, we were playing murderer in the dark * hide and seek* but at night time. My uncle has seen the coach and horses, but i think its the land that makes it active- My grans house is a post war semi detached property and there were numerous occasions things would happen. When you grow up in a village like that, its normal to us than an amazing paranormal experience because it becomes the fabric of everyday occurrence.

I don’t care much for the ghost stuff but I’m super envious that this guy makes his living by wandering around historic buildings with a video camera

FMNikoyo - I'm not sure he makes a living from his videos... a lot of the smaller channels are deserting youtube, because of the unfair way they have been treated. There is a feeling that youtube only wants the big players.
For example, I read on Google that there is a young boy who makes a big salary on youtube with his toy reviews, for other children.... There are some big earners who do beauty and make-up demonstrations and some who do things about video games and technology. I have also seen Yianni, the luxury car customiser here (Yiannimiser?). He is on tv in the UK too. I read that his income is about $40k from here. The boy's is supposedly $90k or something... But these are very big earners, not the norm.
This channel has also left youtube and gone to another site I have not heard of. Others are selling merchandise or asking for Patreon payments to subsidise their expenses.

Most people would not watch this without the "ghost stuff" and the "ghost stuff" is also apart of the history. When you study ghosts, you are studying HISTORY.

Having lived In Pluckley for 25 years I can say I’ve never seen anything even vaguely ghostly. I have seen boy racers ripping up and down the road to Dering Wood at night, rubbish and graffiti left in the car park, damage to the wood caused by illegal camping and fires, fly tipping in the hedgerows and human waste left at camp sites. I’ve had “ ghost hunters” wandering around my property in the early hours and even in my garden. Pluckley’s haunted reputation has no benefit to the village that I can see. Come and visit our lovely village by all means but leave your oujia board at home.

I had the same experience with a ghost horse,it made that whinnying sound right in my left ear ,I heard the sound reverberate off my cabin ,I spun around and there was nothing there.
I found out later that my cabin was built on an old stage coach route.

Amazing you saw the figure in the chapel! And the orb in the archway when in the ruins at night was very good, like a lantern blowing almost. Not an artifact that was windblown across the screen, as it seems to change direction against the wind and eventually disappear through the door. Excellent presentation and great history!

we was here sunday (14th july 2019), when you take the pathway down to the three Sarcophagus on the court yard, looking towards the back gates of the church, one of my friends noticed something on the wall near the gate door. as we turned to make our way out from the front, ii personally turned around to see if he acctually was trying to scare me and i noticed a mist of some sort that was about ten meters away from us. apon seeing this i yelled jesus christ. i have never ran like this in my life. i have no gain from making this story up, i havent yet slepted since last night.

My grandfather was from Charing- just up the road from Little Chart and on the day it was destroyed he was driving up the Pluckley Road and came across the now ruined church. He decided to climb down into the crypt which was exposed by the bomb blast and looked around before he realised that the crypt roof- what was left of it might just collapse on top of him. Interestingly, I have a photo he took of an old rustic with his sickle ( or hook as it is also called) and his hooking stick who must have been cutting the bank along the road- as he looked such a wonderful old character and it states Pluckley on the back of it. I had some of my happiest times staying in Charing as a child.

I first read about Pluckley as a kid in the 80s. Alleged ghosts included the phantom body of a schoolmaster who hanged himself, a spectral Colonel in the woods, a pipe smoking gypsy woman, the highwayman, the ghost of a monk at a house called Greystones who was connected with a lady and the disembodied screams of a worker at the brickworks who was smothered by a collapsing clay wall. I wonder how many of these were the concocted stories for the BBC. I am not surprised at the tugging at clothes by a child ghost. I experienced something similar at Villagio Mall in Doha, Qatar - it felt as though a small child was tugging at my trouser leg. I thought I was being pickpocketed and turned round sharply ready to punch someone out and there was nobody there. About 18 months before, a load of preschool kids had died in a fire in a nursery at the Mall. I didn't know it at the time, but the nursery had been next to the shop where I experienced the tugging. I have considered all the rational explanations, and put this experience in the supernatural bracket. There are many things that science has yet to explain; I believe that there is more than one theory that covers the group of phenomena that we think of as ghosts and hauntings.

I don't know if i encountered a ghost or if it was just my mind playing tricks on me but in November i was walking my dog over a field in front of a hall (which used to be an asylum), it was pitch black and i heard a girl's voice saying "Mummy" behind me, I turned around and say "Hello" but there was no reply after that me and my dog just carried on walking

I absolutely believe he did in fact see something while filming. There's no reason that I can think of why a ghost should wait until dark.. except maybe because with most spectres, their glow is too dim for bright daylight. Great channel. Absolutely subbed! And yeah.. saw that light at the night segment.
I absolutely want to move to Pluckley after I die. I absolutely LOVE that village. Hey if I could move there now I sure would,, and that pub? Man I'd never leave it!
That village is everything of old England I would ever want. I have desktop background pictures of old British churches and villages and thatch cottages.. but few compare with Pluckley! Just wonderful!

I have a recent subscriber, new friend that lives over in the area he investigated this very place back at halloween. Upon his first investigation strangely even though his camera said it was recording the entire time the footage was not there upon viewing I had that happen to me as well recently at a cemetery I love going to I lost the last 20 mins of footage somehow an mine also showed it was recording. But he came back to give it another go and this go round he did get some amazing footage. This place is very beautiful I can see with my minds eye how it could have once looked before it was destroyed and it's breath taking. Such a shame, I could imagine if it was all still intact today it would be a site to behold! It seems hilltop are a bit more windy then lower levels it was windy on the night my friend filmed. The wind makes it more difficult to pick up evp's but even if there's no paranormal caught these video's on these historical places are still amazing 😊 thank you for sharing I would love to find more on this site its quite lovely.

You really don't need to travel to exotic locations or ancient houses/castles, in order to find "ghosts". One place I lived was a house only 3 years old and it was an active home. Not all encounters are with spirits of the deceased or with demonic entities. The house I live in now has the spirit of the old man who built this house in the 30's, a young woman who is dressed in a blue Victorian dress (where she came from I have no clue but she seems to have attached herself to me), and a prankish entity that I'm sure has never been human.

A friend and I had an experience quite similar to that of the lady who heard the horses go past. We were both USAF wives living in a small village in Germany called Sohren and we had packed lunches and gone to look at an old Roman tower that had been rebuilt beside a Roman road nearby. We were sitting up on the third floor of the tower when we heard a horse and cart (not an unusual thing around there) and got up to look for it from the balcony, as we were at the highest point in the area. We saw nothing; we could *hear* it perfectly well-- jingle of harness, hooves on the Roman road, the horse blowing, wheels, everything-- but we couldn't see a thing. After a few minutes we just stood there, staring down at the road and listening, unable to do anything else... and as soon as the horse and cart reached the tower, it just stopped like someone had flicked off a switch. It took us quite a while to get the nerve to come down from the tower, but when we had we headed back and conferred along the way on what had happened. We had seen the same thing: nothing. We had heard the same thing: a horse and cart. And it had just gone completely silent as soon as it reached the tower. We never learned anything about what we had heard.

Whilst at St Nicholas' church in pluckley about a month ago I was walking through with a friend at night. I had never been so scared and weary like I was there. I was determined not to look up but for some strange reason I stopped walking and looked straight ahead. I saw what I thought looked like a dark haired lady in white kneeling down at a grave stone. I quickly and quietly convinced my friend to turn around and leave with me. It was only today that I found out about the white lady who was buried there and who's ghost apparently still haunts the grounds. I am so shocked as I had forgotten all about that night until today! Could I have seen The white lady dering?!!

I live up in North Essex / nr. Suffolk and really enjoy looking at all these quaint old villages and hearing all these paranormal stories. I should take a holiday down in Kent because it's not really that far. And for it to be "just turning dark now" in June means you were probably waiting until after 9:30pm.
    ---
Also - V1 rockets didn't have any guidance systems. They were launched at a certain angle with a certain amount of power and simply crashed to earth when they ran out of fuel. The one that hit the church was likely headed for London and broke down mid-air, or wasn't fuelled properly.

H have a question the screaming woods, you have called it by one name which is correct, but i was told the name of the woods is Deering woods, is this the same principle as the red Lady and White Lady, stories told and through time has changed by people through time relaying the story to others over time. I hope i do not confuse the issue with how i presented the question but with time people can change the story, but the woods the one in the same woods????

How did I miss this film? While in England and unable to find a hotel/inn ANYWHERE due to everyone being on holiday, I started off the main highway chasing a sign for an inn which led me onto these back roads of Kent - got totally lost when I finally found an inn near Little Chart called "Who'd a Thought It" (very elegant accommodation and food by the way and not too pricey, lovely garden). Next day while trying to find my way out of the area I found this ruin at Little Chart. Felt it was 'talking' to me as I drove by, so turned around to check it out. I thought I felt a male presence standing by the area where the alter would have been. Lovely tiles in the grass there, but kept feeling it was an intrusion to stand there. Felt welcome by the door on the other side of the ruin though. Creepy graveyard hidden under the bushes and ivy there. Afterward I'd barely driven into Pluckley which I equated to the word "plucky" thinking it would be a small happy little place - Wrong. Parked at the Black Horse pub, thought I'd get a sandwich but as I was getting out of the car everything in me told me to leave. Got back in the car and off I went to go torture other drivers with my unfamiliar-to-left-side-of-the-road driving. Maybe next time - if I can find it again. NO! Next time I'll haunt you! That would be fun! I'll even buy ya a cup o' tea or something. - Unless of course you would prefer NOT to be associated with Yanks amongst your neighbors. :)

The flash of light in the door way of the ruined church appears to be a moth reflecting the IR spot light from the camcorder. It seems to be between the camcorder and the door.

at 10:30 notice behind her head the head peaking in the reflection in the glass the light raising and deminishing and notice when the woman walks through and past the cabinet behind the blonde, there's an orb that does a figure eight swoosh and takes off out the window.

When i watch vids like this, makes me wanna travell over and have a look my self LOL Would have been awsome to do a paranormal investigation, just to be there and have all feelings from the place my self, think that would make a huge difference from just watching a vid of it.
Was a good and interesting vid, thanks for sharing Chris :)

      Masterton today.
      Christchurch soon!
New Zealand is very young, so i love English paranormal happenings and the history is so old, castles, villages, pubs etc. Its very atmospheric.
Happy new year from kiwi land!

This channel has left youtube and gone to amazon.. Some of the smaller channels are deserting youtube, because of the unfair way they have been treated. There is a feeling that youtube only wants the big players. Others are selling merchandise or asking for Patreon donations to subsidise their expenses.
