Thank you! I’m loving exploring, not battles. I ran into the King Gleeok yesterday in the depths and made myself experiment a bit, then I had to run and am still looking over my shoulder lol.
I gave up after 30 minutes of tryna fell one near the stable in the Tabantha region early on. Then I realized it wasn't a requirement to kill these things in order to rescue the golden horse.
I love it! I appreciate you breaking things down so less skilled (56 year old’s) players like me can understand it and pull it off. Some videos I watch are like all you gotta do is put a bomb on a shield, jump up, do a shield surf, play the ocarina, parry, and the hit him in the left nostril while doing a back flip. That’s all there is to it. I’m more likely to have an anxiety attack and start button smashing @,@

I'm almost 40 and I can relate to this mentality when facing off something even harder than a silverback lynel with a 2H weapon (I haven't mastered that yet, even though the blast range is more forgiving in TotK than it was in BotW.
A little tip I had trouble with at first : if your bow is not that powerful, you may need to hit each eye of the Gleeok more than once ! (so watch out for your stamina) A good indication is to start shooting arrows once the elemental horn on top of the heads goes on and shoots towards the sky. He is incapacitated once those elemental horns go off / shatter. That's how you know he's gonna fall to the ground once you get out of bullet time. Also, love your video as always, good job getting all that info and sharing it ! If you have spots or enemy recommendations to farm arrows, I'd love to know ! At the beginning I always had around 300 without buying any, but lately I'm struggling to keep even 100 in my inventory ! I wonder if targeting watchtower bow wielding monsters in camps is still the best way to farm them.
That’s good to know! I’ve only killed one (thunder) gleeok, and there were a couple of times when I did hit all three heads’ eyes but it didn’t stun them and I was so confused. It eventually flew into the sky and I had to kill them like that. Maybe I needed to shoot them a couple of times then.
Yes, thank you I was using a 3x Multishot Lynel bow and I did fail to mention that in this video, so thank you very much… As far as arrows, I was struggling as well, until I finally started busting all of the crates… I even went back to the wind temple and busted all of those crates, they will respawn.. you can go back to the Taunhiy and the Makurukis shrines, they are archery shrines and they will have bundles that will respawn, I hit all 3 of these places after every blood moon and even the sky island … there are crates there as well as some of the constructs will drop them and they are easy to kill even if you are leveled up,not only arrows but a good source of small zonai charges to be had on sky island 😉… Hope this helps. A lot of boxes to break in one area is Maritta Exchange Ruins by Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower. Probably 13 boxes across that whole area. Only one group of bad guys and they are north of it.
How dare people doubt you lol your methods are great expect the material duplication glitch but I guess that was for players who haven't done the story part where you go and build something
🤣 … i’m not big on glitches I just thought it was a good one because you can actually produce lots of duplicate items at once😉 and I’m sure there’s already another one out there😜 i’m referring to the glitch that is in the chasms. They have already patched some of the other ones, so that’s why I’m just not real big on glitches because it seems like as soon as they come out they patch them, plus I like to just grind the game out I am an explorer.

I have one on Lynels, it is a BoTW video but The mechanics are pretty much the same, I may do one for ToTK but I just feel like everybody is just using items in their inventory rather than fighting them old school so to speak, but I may do one😉
Thanks for the tips! They aren't look so tough now huh I used a different scaffolding design. Take 2 long slabs and stick them in a V shape, then get a square shaped one and stick it on the slabs sides, it pretty much does the same but the V shaped slabs can also protect you from their breath attack. Or you can just use Fire Keese Eyeballs (they do 8 damage each) with 5 shots Savage Lynel Bow, every Gleeok will be stunned after just one shot lol
Great tips! It's actually easy tbh but I always got freak out and minor anxiety attack for no reason. Keese's eyes if its already in the air , they'll take a great fall damage too! I think frost Gleeok the most annoying since you have to battle in cold region and take environmental damage.
Thank you, you could get the snowquill armor(cold resistant) in Rito village and then just cook up an attack power meal like 5 mighty bananas or something… or cook up some spicy peppers and use an attack armor like the barbarian armor or something😉
Snowquill armor at lvl 2 each ftw. You would not believe the lengths I went thru when I tried to get the band back together to ask the diva queen fairies to help me with my armor upgrades 😆

I usually just fuse Aerocuda Eyeballs and batter Gleeoks with multishot bows, preferably my favorite, the Great Eagle Bow, but a 5 shot Savage Lynel Bow works even better. You don't actually need the scaffold, either. You can knock the Gleeok down, get your shots in, then sprint away from it to get out of range of its wingbeats when it gets up. Then rinse and repeat til the Gleeok is dead. This strategy works for all Gleeoks. Eyeballs, especially Aerocuda and elemental ones are your friends for these monsters.
Yes, absolutely can be done without the scaffold, I just like the scaffold because you can go into bullet time and slow things down… I think that sometimes seems easier, especially for those that are not so good at battle😉 Thank you for the tips, and thank you for watching!

Please make a video where are the best spots where to farm Dragons, and where they are at which time of the day for TotK just like in BotW. Yeah, we can ride them now but even tho, instead of waiting them to glow again, I'd be teleporting and farming other's parts meanwhile.
The problem with the dragons is that they are constantly moving even sitting by a fire will not change where they are, so that’s why it’s very difficult to know where they’re going to be at any given point in time in the game… I don’t think there is a set time for each one…each dragon just makes their rotation… so I don’t think there would be a way to know what time of the day they would be at any given spot… But I have not tried to farm them yet maybe there is a method😉
I jerryrigged a hot-air balloon with rockets (saved in my favorites) when the gleeoks get too damn high for me and I needed to get there asap in the final stages of the fight. I didn't think to use the scaffolding because, even IRL, grabity (gravity but with a B) always djck me over 😖
Is it falling over… or are you letting him get to a point that he will attack and possibly knocking it over, when you say disappearing, does it happen early or is it later on in the fight? I am wondering if there is a distance like if you get too far away from it or if there is a timer after a certain amount of time, I don’t know I’ve only had one or two disappear on me and I thought I knocked it over or that he knocked it over because I let him almost get up into the air he created that wind, and then my scaffold was gone… So I haven’t figured that part out yet because it hasn’t happened again. I don’t let him create wind or get up in the air.

Can you make a video on killing Mucktorok in the depths? It was super easy at the Water Temple because the lighter gravity let you go into bullet time every time you jumped. No such thing in the depths. I used the scaffold to get bullet time but I wasted a LOT of arrows because he was too far away for my paraglider to catch up. Every time I glided to him, he started bouncing and sliding all over the place.
I will do my best to be able to make one but I haven’t reached that point yet I’m just now headed to the water temple, and I don’t think it will spawn in the depths until I complete the water temple🤷♀️

@@bzfgt1 if he creates any wind, and it is towards the scaffold, it will destroy it instantly has been my experience. That’s why I just barely let him get on his feet and get those head shots before he even flaps his wings.

You just kinda have to find a map for all of the paths and then follow the path of the dragon that you want until you find it 🤷

A King Gleeok in under a minute?!?!. I've got a Lynel 3-shot bow and using eyes and I'm struggling still at 3 minutes. Haven't won yet 😰
