In order to use a keyboard controller, you'll have to have a Mac running MainStage, because a 'Keyboard Controller' in itself does not produce sound, it just connects to your computer via USB to control a program that creates the sound. It is best to use an audio interface when connecting to your sound system - I use the Scarlet 2i2. Hope that helps!
