Hopefully my explanation was clear enough. Again, even if it seems like you can't stretch far enough to complete the cut, keep practicing. It's surprising how much change repetition can bring.

OMG TYSM!!! I am a beginner cardist and only 14, and my hands are still like so small, but now i'm able to do the scissor cut somehow. I'm asian too btw
Omg thank you! I also though having small hands would make it impossible for me but when you gave those extra tips no other tutorials gave, I was able to do it for the first time!
Also I found out that when I am at around that 90° angle, (I physically can't pull my thumb back only out) if I extend my pointer for a split second it gives me enough time to swing the packet under.
Hi Tim,got to love Ramsay's big big hands. I know it's TRUE, I could not do rev cut but practice and more practice does pay of, but sisscor cut for me is frustrating. I will not give up small hands or not. Think my problem is not got much spand at 90°. I can do it with small pack or having rubber bands holding two separate packs together,but full deck is no go. I can do it, but the end part where we have to slide the cards beneath the rest of the cards using our thumb is kinda confusing, i mean i cant put the cards back in smoothly and it is out of shape after i do it. Will this problem be solved after practicing or am i doing something wrong?

Currently I only manage this cut only rarely. Often times at least one pack fans out a bit which keeps me from getting the top below the bottom. Do you have any advice on how to prevent that?
You might want to try practicing with a slightly older deck, it just makes cards less likely to slip
