Somehow, a cigar makes all things possible. I'm on my 79th trip around the sun and require at least 4-5 cigars a day to get anything done. Cigars help you sit back and think of the easiest way to do something and prevent rash decisions. Great video! Now I'm going to have to steal one of my pups peanutbutter filled bones and try this.

Well done Wyll, I am a knife maker and your choice of the Rough Rider is a very good one I have a few different models in the safe now that I like to give to friends etc.

This is an awesome technique. Besides bone, are there other surfaces that one can scrimshaw?

Inking, is this from a ballpoint or a more traditional calligraphy ink?

Just about any ink will do. India ink, leather dye, even a permanent marker will work.

He's a working man, not a business executive or a doctor.
You can't expect the same cleanliness.

You can be a working man and still be clean.. that kind of grime doesn't happen in a day unless you're a diesel mechanic ...
