- So this I thought would be an interesting video to put together and see if now in 2024 is it possible to get a C8 Z06 Corvette at MSRP without a long wait time. Turns out its possible and I found two main methods of achieving it. Hope everyone enjoys the video!

Just wait until ZR1 comes out, MSRP or under will be possible for Z06 will prob be normal.
I purchased my zo6 with msrp at Stonebriar Chevrolet, dealership was running end of the year sale, but I had to paid admenden.
It all worked out well, a late Christmas gift.

Macmulkin sent emails out on 4 msrp models but none had the options i wanted or color so i continue to wait lol
Its worth the wait. Lol i would check out the corvette group i mention in the video. You may get lucky on a configuration that your looking for and may end up being even under MSRP. Good luck! 👍😎
Another Great Place to Check is the “Corvette World” Locations in Texas as they often have some really nice spec’ed C8 Stingrays, C8.R and Z06’s and they don’t last long!!

I purchased my 2023 C8 at the MSRP, enduring a 9-month wait, which turned out fine as it gave me time to save. I anticipate the Z06 might follow a similar pattern. Why pay over sticker when we could soon find used Z06s with low miles at reasonable prices? Patience pays off.
That would be the natural pattern to happen with the Z06. I feel that will be the case when the ZR1 finally debuts and is in production. People will be trading up for those as well as just the simple fact the z06 will have a better supply going on too. Thanks for the comment! 😎👍
I got my 2024 Z06 at my local dealership for MSRP plus doc fee and wasn’t on their list. Started calling around all dealerships within 250 miles on DOSP day and lo and behold, my local dealership had an allocation that had to be submitted that day. (Oct. 19, 2023) Went to 2000 instantly and 3000 the next week. Picked it up February 10th.
I had been on a list with a big dealer since September 2020 and had heard nothing.

So as prices come down, I'm torn between ordering my Z06 in the coming months or a used GT3.
They are def both great cars. It depends maybe on what you plan to do with them. Is it a daily or just a fun car?
@@NuHorizonC8 Just a fun car. I already have a few other cars including a manual C7 Z06.
@@cjsnylons if you have already a corvette id go the gt3 but depends on the year your looking. The newer gt3s are super nice for sure.
@@NuHorizonC8 Thanks for the feedback! Already having a Corvette is nice, but the C8 Z06 is so different than my C7. To make it more confusing/difficult I also have a 911 Turbo manual.
@@cjsnylons oh well then that throws everything out the window then. BUY THE Z06!!! lol jk 😋. But yeah the c7 to c8 z is a different animal for sure. But in that case if u have previous gen of each kind the z and 911, i think the Z is more worth it imo. Ill stick with that as my final answer lol

Getting ready for the bigger brother, the mighty ZR1, although I have NO interest if it doesn’t have a flat plane crank. I have a 3LT/Z51 Stingray with a cross plane crank and I just have to say it collects dust sitting next to my Z06.
GM better have a good plan. And it better not just be a twin turbo 6.2. Hell I can spend 30k on the stingray and be matched on HP with the ZR1.
I’m hopeful they have a trick up their sleeve. 🤞🏼
Paid $30k over and am eating it very hard.
That is a bit rough. But at least its not bad as the person who spent $100k over. Even if I was swimming in money that would be a hard pill to swallow.
@@NuHorizonC8 It’s true. The car has 5 miles on it. Was going to warehouse storage it for 10 yrs and found out they built 6600 of them. I’m driving it every chance I get.
