Bro, please make a tutorial about 1 framer transition in this edit. I really want to learn because I'm a beginner on after effects and is so confusing to found a good tutorial with some effects ( expression shake..... )
There will be more tutorials in the future :)
@@lyntedits great
i am new to after effects (2020) and my preview take so much time to render!! why? please tell me... should i have to install some plugins to make preview faster or is there something else
Firstly, your preview quality might be set too high, so try turning the resolution to adaptive or auto in the preview on the right. This will adjust the quality of your preview depending on the intensity of the scenes, and you should get better performance.
Secondly, your specs might not be good enough to run AE effectively or you might not have reserved enough RAM for AE to work with. The latter can be configured in edit > preferences > memory. I suggest at least 32GB of ram for AE -- it is a professional video editing software and it is expected that you will need a powerful computer to run it.
You can also try shutting down background processes via windows task manager to reserve some resources for your editing. Keep in mind that projects with more scenes and effects will INEVITABLY take much longer to preview, and there is nothing you can do about that. I usually take the time to render an unfinished project while doing something else so that I can see what it looks like.
The last thing I can think of is disabling demanding effects in your timeline. Effects such as twitches and time slices are very hard on the preview and loading time, so disabling the effect layer after you've established that the effect looks good can be a great way to increase performance and speed up your editing. You can simply re-enable the layer when you want to render the project.
Hope this helped, and come back to me if you are still having issues 👍
