My wife and I were married in this park! We were in the little bench area with the George Washingtom bridge right behind us. It was a breathtaking view from up there.
Look up the children's book "the little red lighthouse and the great gray bridge". Also pointing out that today, October 2024, the South walkway that this ride goes over has been closed for repairs, and the north walkway has been completely updated.
Very good video! I did Flatbush to GW bridge overlook today and recognized many of your landmarks. Have been looking at bike computers, but I'm kind of a minimalist. Lately have been using Kamoot App and the voice commands I can hear in my back pocket. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and stopping to smell the roses along the way!
We enjoyed the video. We are headed up there from NC in a couple of weeks to ride the Palisades and several other trails in the NJ/NY/CONN areas. We also make videos of our rides and enjoy looking at other's videos. We have subscribed to your page and look forward to watching more.
Yeah I might've turned off my camera at the time. :) But basically once you exit the bridge, you take the pedestrian path on the left side of the big road and bike approximately 10-15 seconds and you'll find a dedicated bike path. From there the bike path descends significantly so you should be careful. The entrance of the Palisades Park is at the end of that descent. Here's the direction in Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/zKmvC7LH5UDyMDVJA
Nice video ! Enjoyed it. Will ride it someday . Can you please let me know the name of the road you were riding on the palisades ? Is it the Hudson drive ?

Great video ! But I didn’t see how you get Palisades Park after you crossed the bridge ?
