the humans are pretty much the gods to them, they influence their history, influence what they build, they created them, ect. but the kid is the lower power god and the man is the higher powered god until he gave his kids even powers to influence their universe causing the kid's sister to make post apocoliptic universe.
Yeah, basically apocalypseburg is supposed to be dark times in history and the kid is the one who is making the story, also the kid and the dad are the ones building everything
When I saw this film in theatres, I personally HATED these sections. One of the reasons was because they were kind of a pace breaker compared to the rollercoaster of a movie and the scenes went on for WAY too long, but the biggest reason was because it sort of implied that this entire journey we've been on was an illusion and that these characters didn't exist in universe. Now that I'm in my late teens, it hasn't gotten much better, but I can at least understand the importance of these real life sections as an allegory for the perfection vs imagination message that this film is trying to get across. I still feel as though they could have done that in the "lego realm", but at the same time, I think it's interesting how this whole story filled with character, action and adventure all narrows down to a child playing with his toys.
This part of the movie made no sense at all. Can anyone help explain the human world part of this movie? Why the characters are consious (like emmett) and made up (Their whole world) at the same time?
The way he falls through the seemingly never ending abyss into the godly dimension is full of the exaggerated swagger of a middle aged lego guy

And emmet was hidden by Finn to free everyone
Then he realized he became his father. He wanted to play with the Legos but didn't want his sister to
Forget Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy and even Parks and Rec. This is my favorite Chris Pratt character ever.
