It ultimately doesn't matter what size she is, or her voice; She's been an amazing singer since she became famous in the 60's (and she was singing a while before that). I had the pleasure of attending a recital of hers at thye Auditorium Theater in the early 80's when I was studying voice.She was spell-binding whether singing early italian arias or singing bel canto. One of my favorite voices of all time.

whenever I hear Caballe, I picture a veteran voice teacher at some prestigious conservatory. I can just imagine her with some student and miming to her while the student is on stage.

Les prestations de Caballé sont au moins restées dignes jusqu'au début des années 2000. On n'a pas trop de mal ici à retrouver de beaux souvenirs. Mais à partir de 2007-8 s'est devenu globalement pathétique, et depuis 2010- laissons de côté quelques heureuses exceptions- c'est à glacer le sang et le coeur.

Caballe was one of my first exposures to Opera when I was very young, this piece has made me fall in love with her voice all over again.
