- Riot invited me to LA to playtest the new agent, Clove, and I had an amazing time. Clove is a controller-duelist hybrid who will probably completely solve the issue of nobody wanting to play smokes in your ranked games!
In this video I go through Clove's abilities and their role in general, and showcase some of my best plays while playing them with my streamer friends.

That's so dope. Normally controllers have to play very passive, because you don't want your smokes to die early, but now that's completely turned around.
you still have to be careful because the smokes are limited to around your corpse
If u don't wanna play passive u can pick omen 2
@@parv_shahNah that's a misconception. Even with Omen you cannot afford to play aggressively and risk losing smokes for the team

@@Jupue That would be Brinstom, why would you die with someone that can regen smokes? In the other hand, if you used your 3 smokes with Brinstom it isn't that important to play lineups as it is to get the bomb down and the site controlled, many low elo teams don't dare to do the entry.

@@stranger2195 she has literally no space making utility, she can heal and revive but she still can't entry on her own nor can she force duels into her favor, which literally every other duelist can do. She's very much not a duelist.
All that while having the shortest smoke time and such a limited range to smoke, I lowkey think she's gonna be bad again, and not OP like everyone says.

Btw here's a tip(subject to release changes), you can bind your c and left click so you get the heal immediately. Normally it's used by ratty reynas but not used by high level because you are basically forced to dismiss but in clove's case there's less of a reason not to heal

Do your death smokes use the same timer as your live smokes? Would it be possible to die, quickly smoke, ult, phase into the death smoke?
Seems like you can't smoke in the ult activation window
They have the same timer yeah, if you use both and then die, they will be on cooldown :D

You know what's funny? We now go chamber who is a pseudo duelist, and now clove. Just a lot of duelist mimicking because duelist is the most fun class.

I HAVE A QUESTION, suppose u are one point away from ur ult and generally when u die u gain one point so do u get to revive urself when u are one point away from ur ult and u die ?
You dont gain the last ult orb from dying to an enemy until the start of the next round

You’re right. It may just be a visual bug, but if it does get you to 151 she can definitely counter an op.

What happens if Clove is the last alive in her team and she dies with ult. Does the round ends or does it wait for the 3 sec window of her ult to finish ?

The only thing I need to know if she is the last one to die for a skin who has finisher , does the finisher plays even if she can ult or it waits for her to refuse to ult?

What happens if a Clove that has their ultimate is the last kill in a round? Does it not say you've won until the 2 second timer is up, or can you just not ult if you're the last kill?
The only scenario in which clove can be the last to die and still revive is if the bomb is planted and you are on attack. If the round would end when you die, the round still ends and the revive cannot be used.

Clove's a great agent , just a bit overpowering I think , like how chamber was , but in a different way . She is a controller-duelist hybrid perfect for players who usually don't play duelist due to have not having great aim or not confident enough to do entry in sites for the team plus rev and heal is great since they usually get low hp or die after a duel . Overall , looks like a new meta's about to begin . She might get some debuffs soon in my opinion
