Bro felt. Ranked always creates teams that have one carry player, 2 mid players, and 2 of the most braindead unimaginably bad players you could find. Ranked is in the dumps right now
and my games are three braindead players and one toxic thats screaming at everybody because he has more kills from running in and sometimes getting two leaving me to clutch a 3v1
It's not just happening in Immortal/Ascendant lobbies too which is wild. This type of stuff is happening in Bronze/Silver lobbies. Constant throwing, toxic and racist teammates, no comms or bad comms. It's ridiculous. Then when you try and report someone for throwing/spamming util at teammates/comms abuse it seems like nothing happens. I don't know what they can do to make the ranked experience enjoyable but even as a low ELO player, it just isn't a fun time.
I'm in iron 2 and whenever I'm in a silver lobby the teammates are like way worse one time I had a game where nobody had coms on except me and the Gekko kept buying a judge not using wingman to plant not buying for teammates, not working with the team and complaining about how I was bottom fragging as omen when I had to fill cus the entire team insta locked and my main got stolen
While i was in bronze had this Amazing (please undertand the irony) game where me and sage were trying to play It seriously and clutching as much round as we could, our brimstone wasn't the best (he was filling) but he at least dis what we asked him to do and was very helpful even if he was not fragging a lot....and then there were the instalock neon and reyna arguing and being toxic to One anither bc neon was a woman e reyna just wanted to throw bc of that...neon wasn't even playing poorly...She Just got tilted after so many rounds full of insults and It was showing...our reyna ended 0/21/0...and we tried our best to win in what was tecnically a 4v5 at that point
I had a game that was 11-12, and it was a 1-5. And he shot 2 bullets aiming at the body, cause he was moving, he head tapped all 5 of them 😅 and we won overtime
As a player who's been in ascendant since the rank came out this is the most relatable thing ever. Welcome to ascendant keeoh. You won't be leaving anytime soon
I stopped playing rank a while ago but I always remember being bronze3 and going against golds, I was so mad that the game forbid you from playing with gold but put you against them and if you loose you still de-rank. That felt like a scam, I feel like there should be more rank mobility.
@@Krihzap the thing is you in those lobbies get +30 while losing gets -5. It's because of mmr and it actually benefits you to be in those lobbies, every win is a lot of RR and is the anti smurf mechanism Riot have. Is a shitty system but as soon as you get a couple of wins you double or triple rank up
Yea, this is somehow normal now. People don´t have the Ranks they should have anymore. I am currently in the same place as you were, past few acts i always got to Silver but this act it is next to impossible. Playing against high silvers or golds i get a lot more rr per win than i lose on a loss, but i am not ranking up because my winrate is only like 37 percent. Absolute scam honestly
@@Gabrielxdxd4 Yeah i get it but I feel like the game should give you the rank before putting you in those lobbies bc even if you don't lose much you still lose and I remember still getting the usual bronze-silver team mates T-T
@@Gabrielxdxd4 yea I know but I feel like ranked is getting worse and worse because I was gold 3 in episode 7 act 3 and got to silver 1 after not playing the first act of episode 8
Lose 1st round (pistol round) and the team will instantly say GG and vote to surrender when they can then throw the rest of the game, I used to be S1 and have been stuck I2 for months because of this, I can't remember the last time I had a game where there isn't a surrender vote as soon as they can be made even in games where we're winning, comp just sucks honestly
It’s so real. Last act I finally hit gold and was so motivated to see how much further I could push forwards. I’m now b2 again and I’ve moved on to just playing Fortnite and single players games…
Ooh I kinda forgot about that, yeah same here it's a surrender 3rd round and then they sulk and try a surrender again first round of the second half (we never do cause haha silly little crybaby can waste their time crying for a little longer if they choose to be so annoying)
I usually just let my team know i suck at pistol round (very true, I lose pistol like 80% of the time) and that we will likely lose it unless someone pops off, seems to usually stop them from giving up XD
ikr. i play unranked, but the game still somewhat organizes by skill and OML the amount of bottom frag duelists is... astounding. like if you just joined then why instalock?
they should add a reputation system, so if you are throwing your team can give you like a "dislike" and if you are calling giving good vibes etc. you can get a like so you get into lobbies with people also calling giving good comms etc.
@@ignxelo just give the toxic peoples votes less impact if your whole team gives u a dislike cuz u are toxic riot could make your dislikes on them have 0 impact. The better your reputation the more influence your votes have
This sounds genius. The flaw I see from this is that as soon as it’s implemented everyone has no reputation and people that are toxic can drag others down before their votes become less impactful.
3 stacks downvoting everyone go brr jokes aside, I don't think this would be a bad idea but there would have to be a lot of considerations and polishing before implementing it, however riot wont add it anyway
I cant help but find this painfully relatable, I'm only plat and not anywhere near ascendant even but the feeling of playing against people a few ranks lower after a loosing streak is messed up. Makes you feel like you don't know the game or the timings but in reality its just that your used to people doing whatever is considered the "optimal play" in your normal rank which isnt the same across the board.
What riot needs to do: 1) Verification for rank queue 2) Sepparate people by level would also be good (like for players below 150 and above 150) 3) No-comms rooms, let no-commers play on their own, not hard to tell who talks or not 4) There has to be insentive to play more, rather then to play less. I think best suggestion is to make dorrito level mean something, like getting more rewards for your rank the more filled your board is. For 1 win - gunbuddy For 9 wins - background for title For 25 wins full on specieal border For 50 wins in your current rank. Meaning full triangle is filled, a skin for a pistol (or something). To the point where to 50 players of rank can get some special spray and even custom voice line that only avaliable for these players.
@@h0pelless850 they shouldn't remove any map altogether, that's a really bad take however I don't see why they removed haven this act? it makes no sense, haven and ascent are like the main two maps that need to always stay in rotation, i swear. icebox and breeze are definitely a little more skill based than other maps in some ways, too. maybe some players struggle with them leading to more bad players in matches
@@Infact77 icebox is such a bad map and a terrible experience, the only way to fix it is to make it not icebox anymore. they shouldn't delete maps, but icebox, that map doesn't deserve to exist anymore. as for breeze, riot has shown that they CAN make good changes... and then revert it back to the worse version by re-opening halls.
@@EmiWi I don't know. When I was lower elo, I hated icebox. Now that I'm in higher elo, I like icebox. It's just a personal thing and I don't think the whole map should be removed because there will always be someone who will complain. As for breeze, I love that halls got re-opened. I hated the previous version. This gives opportunity for so many more strategies
Ranked is so horrid right now. My peak was Diamond 2 in Act 5 and this is the first time I’m getting back into seriously playing Val. Only to be stuck gold 2 playing against former Immortal and Ascendant players
This is what happens to me too. This rank act I’ve been encountering so many peaked immortals and ascendant lobbies in my gold-plat games. And somehow we still lose even if I have them on our team. I peaked Diamond 1 in Act 7 ep 1 and I’ve been trying really hard to get it back but these ranks games have been so horrid.
They need to adjust how RR is distributed. I know it’s win/loss based, but they need to reward RR for performance as well. If you’re consistently team or match MVPing, regardless of a loss, you should be losing minimal to no RR. Meanwhile if you’re 5/27/5 you should be dropping upwards of 35 RR to get people places where their skill level actually is. It’s excruciating this act.
this is actually how it is, the better you do the less rr you lose, the worse you do the more you lose, but I don't think it rewards or punishes *enough*.
The way you’re saying is not viable. People can play solely for kills and bait to lose no rr when they think the game is lost (which some people think after 3-4 rounds)
If they made this, the game will be terrible, every body will play only for kills, no 1 will follow calls, play safe, or play more passive agents like viper ir sentinels.
I uninstalled the game for the first time like 2 months ago, reinstalled it like 2 weeks ago and then uninstalled it proper again last night. The game doesn't care about skill, just arbitrarily assigning you a rank. Ive had games against silvers and gold that feel like radiants and have dia-asc teammates that genuinely play like irons.
I feel like it’s getting to that point like CS already where these players KNOW how to play properly but aren’t really giving 100% in ranked… people play it like it’s unrated
This happens in every rank, I'm currently between S3 and G1 and sometimes no matter how we play, I went one time 10/20 with most of the kills being sova darts/ults. No matter what I try, shots simply don't land. Like, I used to get nice headshots with the Ghost, now I can barely hit body shots but nothing changed on my end. I can admit I'm not good in terms of aiming but before I could compensate with game sense and strategy in my rank and it worked quite well in plat lobbies too. Throwing teammates, toxicity, verbal abuses, they all make the experience even worse.
Heavy on the verbal abuse part, its so saddening in lower elo because its the "smurfs" that are in our teams in low elo then screaming at us for the playstyle
if I ever like duo queue and I'm on my smurf account with one of my friends, I usually just pick a controller or sentinel and just play as if I was the same rank as the rest of the lobby. I "smurf" because it's the only way I can play with my friends and teach them how to get better in real time rather than having to wait for them to get near enough to my rank to be able to play with me. I never like to just frag out and feed my ego in lower elo lobbies bc it does nothing but deter people from playing and enjoying the game, which is what the game is supposed to be about. Cause trust me, I've been there as a new player or a player that was in lower elo lobbies for a while, it sucks when you get stuck playing against a smurf that is blatantly obvious about it. I switched to Valorant in the later summer of 2023 from CSGO and it was a big transition that I had to get used to, but once I did, I learned that the 2 communities are more alike than most people think.
will never understand people who draw. just had a 15-15 draw and its like......why are you queuing competitive if you dont want to win??? like you might as well play unrated at that point.
I´ve had to draw a 15-15 yesterday that I was carrying (surprisingly cause I suck ass at the game), because the game took so long I was late for dinner. Sometimes it´s just life. but yeah, some people are just scared of losing rr
Quit the game around a year ago cause I geniunely could not take the throwers anymore, I think valorant is the only competitive game where people geniunely think it's cool to throw and not care and there are zero concequences for it unless they are insanely obvious about it. Glad to know I quit before it got even worse, they really need to do something about it
Never once, has an video ever felt so relatable. I want to keep loving this game but it honestly just feels like an one-sided, heavily abusive relationship. Being on the receiving side...
I have been playing this game for... over a year I'm sure I have grown a lot since then, got better at getting kills learned the tech, tips and tricks *never got into Bronze* whenever I get close, random smurf on other team, 2 teammates braindead and just me and my homies gotta try and make the most of it
bro i feel u man, ofc i understand some players maybe just so happen to be unlucky and have bad games/bad timing. honestly, as someone who was a hardstuck gold2 98rr for 1-2 years, i met tons of toxic players through my games, if you play this game you for sure will need a strong mental health, i always try to make my teammates stay positive and support them, but eventually i myself got drained and negative after some time, especially some players that arent really doing good maybe boosted (for example smokes badly), i would kindly ask them to smoke a specific spot, they would ignore it and rush in solo, 1 or 2 game is ok, but yeah. anyways i wish u the best man, hope u get back to radiant fr
i feel like we as a community keep pushing a boulder such as the replay system and keep falling down because valorant cares more about skins than the game itself
@@levibird6935 you must have been living under a rock if you say nobody "gaf" about the replay system. not sure why you are lashing out like a upset child, just move on or don't watch these sort of videos?
@@levibird6935 bro get off your ass and check all the comments on ANY valorant post. clearly youve been living under a god damn rock. actually so stupid fr. the fact that you chose MY comment out of all the comments that have thousands of likes that talk about the same thing is depressing lmaooo
Damn I guess this really is a universal experience. For me personally it's not even that I get put into lobbies with good or bad players, more like I get put into lobbies with people who understand or don't care about the game. Like one game I have teammates that actually trade, hold space and use their util and the next game I have 4 people completely silent except to scream in their mic, force on eco and save on buy rounds, run in and die first on every ego swing the entire game. And that is in high Ascendant/Low Immortal lobbies rn
started this act in g2, went down to low s3, went back up to almost g3 without a single loss and then almost back to silver, i genuinely don‘t know what to do anymore (granted there were games i lost due to my own performance but i’ve also never seen as many smurfs and throwers as i‘ve seen this episode)
2 Things: 1. When you're talking about percentages of how many games used to be fun. This is just what its like to be in any rank other than the very top. I've had the exact same experience in almost every game I play. Being in any rank other than the highest just drops the teammate quality exponentially. (My best experience being going from Gold to GM in OW2) 2. Once I uninstalled Valorant tracker I realized the loser's q really does exist. For most of my playtime when looking at my teammates profiles they were about 50/50 in their last few games. Then I lost like 3 in a row and all my teammates after that either didn't have Val tracker, or we 3+ losses into a losing streak. This continued for 9 Losses before one win broke my streak and I started getting 50/50 teammates again. Thats 6 games at least with teammates who were consistently losing and none that were winning. That just shouldn't be how it works
Ranked has such a stupid system. Its like you constantly get into games where you have people go afk, or you just absolutly horrible teamates. Like when does it end
Same Keeoh, I hit Asc1 last act and I was peaking, I started getting shit randoms every freaking game and now I'm hardstuck Asc1. It's like the more you play good the more the game fills you with people that play bad.. this is not competitive at all and the fun gets replaced with fear
Went from gold down to b3 and got stuck there bouncing between silver and bronze with throwers and toxic teammates 75% of the time. When I do have a good game and finally win it's usually not even because I played well, its just because a teammate was dominating the lobby. I just stopped playing ranked.
I've been feeling this so much, most of my matches feel out of my control, no copium, the lobbies are such weird ones this season, from throws to insane aim demons
I didn't play for about a year and came back recently. I got placed Silver 3 and am somehow match MVPing mid plat lobbies and losing more and more (My peak before i quit was plat 2)
holy crap I feel this video so much, I lost 12/13 games in a row while match mvping 10/13 games, fell all the way down from ascendant 3 to diamond 2, while still getting immortals in the enemy team and diamonds in my team. Rank is absolutely horrible right now
honestly as someone who was ascendant and cannot now get out of plat: my teammates are golds that don’t know how to play the game and i play against the most insane smurf or someone who has a life game
this is so true, for exemple, i always find the one carry team8 2 ranks above that is suposed to outperform everyone playing a less impactfull agent like sentinel, my guess is that they lose so much rr that demotivates them trying to rank up, and then you will find the 0/8 viper or cypher
a few weeks ago after playing comp for 2 years nearly every day i stoped. i played a bit of swift and spike rush and didn't care if we were loosing or if someone bottom frags. and tbh: this made the game much more fun and enjoyable
one thing that pushed me away from valorant (and its ranked gameplay) was low elo and not feeling like I can do better. there were games where I could pop off. but I never was able to keep that up. i understand its a skill issue, especially since I never got past silver and hovered around low silver/high bronze. but it becomes super demotivating to play matches, go up against players who are much greater in skill than you, and get team mates who are either bm-ing, no microphones, or throwing. i was getting games where we went 3-9 1st half, and it was unmotivating to continue because the 3 round wins were from rounds 1-3. and loosing 9 rounds in a row become tiring to deal with.
maybe riot should add a reputation system based on aim, comms, game sense or whatever you do during the match and you win or lose points by being better or worse on this and then you are with players that has the same reputation, so trolls are with trolls and serious people is with serious people
the problem with that is if you previously had a good reputation and just have a rlly bad game your reputation will get lower and the only way I could imagine that being implemented is with ratings from your other teammates... and if you're in troll lobbies because you've got low rannking? you're probably not gonna get out of that shit very easily.
I noticed that Episode 8 completely threw everyone out of their old ranks. I went from Dianond 1 to Silver 2 and it feels like I have to do all the work just to get a chance at winning while my teammates barely know how to use the agent they're playing as.
The problem with ranked for low elo is the mindset. Like even if you are 1/9/2 and losing 9-3 you can still pop off the next half, go 20/10/5 and then win. It's not a game where you doing bad for 4 rounds = you doing bad the entire game. For high elo, it's just ego. People just need to listen and ask nicely. Honestly it goes a long way instead of screaming someone's head off. And also to know that people do make mistakes... and they aren't always perfect.
I feel like its especially crummy down in lower elos. Filled with smurfs, throwers, and just a bunch of other stuff that that just makes it really unfun to play unless you have friends, and even then it can feel like a chore to play ranked
Just started getting back into ranked, and I definitely felt like some games were just unwinnable even if you as an individual are better than any player on the other team. It only happened a few times to me though so I figured that the match making is just a little janky sometimes, but for it to happen to you that much is wild lol
ill have games in ascendant where it feels absolutely wild that my team managed to even get there and i can have games where right after it feels absolutely wild that i was able to get there. like some games are so incredibly competitive and its like the enemies have the most solid defence imaginable and i get headshot instantly every time and then the next game its like none of them know whats going on at all.
I feel that, the other day I dropped 37 kills and an ace in a ranked match (iron 3 peak bronze 1) and we lost 10-13. I genuinely blame a lot of it on my team because of how hard I try and the kills I get, but that never matters because the enemies always win in the end. I know I’m in the lowest rank but I feel like I need more rng with the teammates I get lol, it’s always me and people that go 8-22.
I don't like to solo q, it hurts my brain, I'm currently gold and I'm peak plat. The problem I find with myself is that the only friends I have to play with are all at least mid/high plat to Asc level players. I find myself in situations all the time where I play AWFULLY and beat myself up for it without even realizing that it isn't really my fault that I'm losing so hard to High plat/diamond/even immo players sometimes. Is it my fault we're losing games?
I will say to a degree, probably, but you are definitely not the only contributing factor. Lots of times when high plat or asc players are playing with someone lower ranked than them, that lower ranked person they're playing with is either a smurf on an alt and you're just the unlucky fucks who got matched against them, or, it could just be a team diff bc val loves to stack you against people who are much higher ranked than you while your teammates are lower ranked than you because I guess that makes a ton of sense to the devs 🤷♂️
for me as a diamond-asc player, i dont feel like i have as many bad players on my team than just pure throwers. like someone who from round 2 is downright throwing, being incredibly toxic towards everyone, often resulting in slurs being thrown at everyone and its just not a fun experience.. like im an igl, i cant just mute them but at the same time i dont get why would someone queue up and just throw
I think I have a solution, but I’m not sure if it will work. My solution is add cell phone verification and you can only play with other people with cell phone verification if you can ranked and if you do not, you can still play ranked but not with people who verified so that verified people are on their main accounts and non-verified. People are on their alt accounts. this eliminates boosting and also eliminates throwers most of the time because most of the time when people throw their on their alternate accounts.
Ranked reset/rework. Ow did it and honestly their ranked system is pretty decent now. What riot could do is set everyone's rank a few stages below what their mmr actually is.
Bro keeoh is going through the stages of a Valorant player on a losing streak: gaslighting himself, depressed, blaming teammates, constantly changing his crosshair, debating if crouch should be undbinded, plays continuously even if he loses 😂 everything.
personally as a hardstuck iron 3 for like 3 episodes, i hit bronze 2 yesterday. I kinda disagree about the ranked season being bad, but maybe in the high rank games its different. I personally think that the toxic smurfs are back in high ranked games, idk i might just be crying tho!
Dont take offence to this but you just gotta turn your monitor on to get out of iron. You wont really feel the struggles of ranked until you’re in gold/plat. The pain is introduced in silver but barely
This has been the state of ranked for almost a year now, I stopped playing because of situations like this. I think most CCs don't understand how ranked has been like this for Ascendant/Diamond elo for MONTHS. All the team has done recently is release skins, it's why I stopped playing. This video perfectly showcases the problem ranked has had since they released the "Ascendant" rank
its going exactly the same for me, I´ve been stuck in one rank for 1 month constantly having the winning 3 games losing 3 games cycle with shitty teammates😭
I agree. Right now I’m plat 1, and yesterday I finally thought I was going on my run to dia ( was plat 2 50 rr ) then go on a massive losing streak ( all team and match mvps ) to plat 1 2 rr. Hopefully I can get diamond soon.
Right when I started playing in late 2021 I dropped 40 bombs in bronze almost every game and would still lose because I was 1v5ing almost every round. I still have the screenshots. It became clear that my performance didn’t matter and that it was just a teammate lottery and I quit playing ranked and haven’t returned since. Sounds like things haven’t changed unfortunately
Ive been hardstuck diamond 2 for the past 4 acts now and its the same thing tbh, ive fallen from d2 to p1 for 2 of those 4 acts and everytime i had to grind my way back just by sheer aim and gamesense cus the lobbies seem to be full of smurfs or throwers and it doesnt help that I usually play solo. On the off chance i get to play in a 5 stack the situation seems much better at least considering i get to have fun
They need to make a ranked mode like prime in csgo where u pay to play with other prime players, that way valorant gets money and u only play with other serious players
Just got out of a comp game where my gekko and sage immediately gave up on playing and fucked around with the enemy top frag, while also dragging out every round to time and not surrendering. This act
Its horrible in lowers ranks too because you also have a ridiculous amount of smurfs. I recently started paying attention to val tracker the tier system they have to see who on my team or the other team are going to either frag out or not do the best and try and alter my play style around that.
Keeoh I feel the same I hit diamond 1 and then my games took a turn my teams mental through the wall and it's hard to climb back up with how ranked has been recently and I ended up in plat 1 but I'm making my way back hopefully
Even in bronze and silver, some of my teammates are just suffeing. Entire enemy team have almost equal kills, theyre all doing good, and then two ppl on my team are just playing like an NPC. Miles below the top 3 players. It's insane how my peak is gold 3, but I cant get back to it after the rank reset because of the horrible team matchups. Not only that there is ZERO comms, and insta locks. Just earlier today I had 4 people who all instalocked duelist. I main duelist, I get wanting to play duelist. But for christ's sake the amount of instalocks im seeing recently is insane. I ended up having to fill onto a character I had 0 clue how to play. Even if I wasn't going to play duelist in that game, I would've at least liked to talk it out and figure out who I could play to better suit everyone.
I thought it was just me. As a relatively low elo player (Plat) that has just returned to Valorant after a couple of months, I've noticed I've been playing ALOT better compared to back then, but I've deranked HARD, all the way to silver even. Admittedly, some of those matches I underperformed, but for the matches that I actually did a lot of good plays, and had one or two great teamates, it still came down to the wire because there was always a player or two in both teams that had 0/12/0 KD. It's starting to get annoying when you have to clutch a 1v3 every round and spectate your team lose a 3v1 post-plant. I'd much rather have a lose streak because I played bad instead of winning games where I sucked and losing games where I played well.
Valorant's competitive game mode is literally just win then lose then win then lose then lose and then win then lose. Its so shit, playing unrated is way more fun.
Bro i feel u, last episode i ended in plat 1, after the placements which i won 4 and match mvped in 3 of them it put me in Silver 1 .-. i match mvped my way to Diamond 2 just yesterday, it's been so hard, like the hardest Act i have ever played, what i think changed is that people cares much less about the rank than they did before, feels like people are playing for fun and not to compete, i mean u can have fun but please do it in Unrated or swiftplay!
Dude I soooooo much agree with u. Like even if i rank uped to gold 2 this act (it's not much but i'm proud of it) i feel like i loose when i really try to win and get win strik when i just suck
you probably just gotta put yourself out there. the problem is usually just being too scared to say or do anything to actually go an get what you want. just gotta send it sometimes
I've somewhat recently started playing more comp rather than unrated, after a big ol' hiatus. Unrated is absolutely not balanced. Never. You either roll or get rolled. And that ain't fun! So I switched to comp. I think a lot of people may have done this, and because of that there's a lot more people who don't warm up and play somewhat casually in comp. So that messes a bit with the actually competitive vibe. But to be fair, I'm down in silver/gold and there it's also a mess. Disregarding the small skill-setback due to my short hiatus, I'm kinda supposed to be gold 1 when it comes to skill level but also elo as I'm usually balanced up against a gold (edit: or higher). But I just went down to silver 1 for a bit. Now finally veery slowly climbing up, but with how much of a gamble it is I'm very much doubting I'll reach gold again anytime soon. What I mean to say is, the whole ranked system is affected, not just the high ranks as it kiinda used to be before. It's so annoying and I've also stopped taking comp seriously. I'd rather try my best and have a bit of fun than tryhard and get tilted because of how screwed the matchmaking is...
Exactly how i feel man. Ranked somehow is really bad to play in this act. I mean, i´m in no way good at the game and my rank was only like Silver one most of the time but this act its hard for me to even get out of bronze 2, and its not my performance. In low elo it has normally already been bad enough due to smurfs, but now with some of the bad matchmaking it got really ridiculous. You can have the game of your life with 30 kills or more and still lose, but its like not only one unlucky game anymore, but this somehow is the norm now.
i went from having an 80% win rate from gold to ascendant then riot was like that's enough fun for you, went on a 15 game loosing streak with team and match mvp here and there, gave up on ranking and now im like that deadlock "i play for "fun" ".
I'm gold but I feel this so hard, the games I win I bottom or mid frag and get no RR because its putting me with carries to reward me from when I team MVP in most of the games I lose because of toxic teammates or people who just disconnect.
I stopped playing ranked right as the current map pool was implemented a few months back. Im sure there are multiple problems with the game but maybe when its in a worse state to play weird things happen to the playerbase. Try mixing in some other games into your streams to weather the storm, and good luck out there man
Bro felt. Ranked always creates teams that have one carry player, 2 mid players, and 2 of the most braindead unimaginably bad players you could find. Ranked is in the dumps right now
it is like that in every team game, just so you know. That is how the algorithm 'balances' the teams.

Same. Guess some guy bought a diamond/plat account and wanted to go down a slide, because he literally threw 15+ in a row.
I had a kid that was boosted to diamond in silver lobbies who kept getting mad at me for throwing when hes bot fragging after insta-locking jett
Playing comp is a gamble, when you get good teammates it feels like winning a lottery
I had a game that was 11-12, and it was a 1-5. And he shot 2 bullets aiming at the body, cause he was moving, he head tapped all 5 of them 😅 and we won overtime
@@plushiesarethebestithinkbro got his first ace
I’ve said this to my friends so many times lol. It really is gambling
just as rare too
But you only get it every 500 games….

I stopped playing rank a while ago but I always remember being bronze3 and going against golds, I was so mad that the game forbid you from playing with gold but put you against them and if you loose you still de-rank. That felt like a scam, I feel like there should be more rank mobility.
Me too. I was iron 3 and got into gold 3 lobbies
Keeoh being embarrassed to be in ascendant:
Me in bronze: 😳
dont feel bad I quit this season and last because I have match mvpd every match and im stuck in gold but im peak d3
i mean its the same thing if you as a bronze player was playing in Iron 1 and getting stomped
I feel you. Had a game where 3 of my teamates(all in a party) left at different times for dinner and they were all instalock duelists
ikr. i play unranked, but the game still somewhat organizes by skill and OML the amount of bottom frag duelists is... astounding. like if you just joined then why instalock?
@@happycamper2799well that’s unranked tho, I do that all the time if I’m trying to play someone different or jus messing around
they should add a reputation system, so if you are throwing your team can give you like a "dislike" and if you are calling giving good vibes etc. you can get a like so you get into lobbies with people also calling giving good comms etc.
but then toxic players can just dislike their entire team which impacts the other teammates’ rep. also people can just dislike cuz they feel like it
@@ignxelo just give the toxic peoples votes less impact if your whole team gives u a dislike cuz u are toxic riot could make your dislikes on them have 0 impact. The better your reputation the more influence your votes have
This sounds genius. The flaw I see from this is that as soon as it’s implemented everyone has no reputation and people that are toxic can drag others down before their votes become less impactful.
3 stacks downvoting everyone go brr
jokes aside, I don't think this would be a bad idea but there would have to be a lot of considerations and polishing before implementing it, however riot wont add it anyway
@@21pulse89 yeah but what if theres a toxic party that just queue to shit on others?
"This ascendant player thinks he deserves radiant because of his teammates, let's find out" -Dittozkull
haha
"the house always wins" i caught that cypher quote, i knew the cypher main in you would stay deep down
I cant help but find this painfully relatable, I'm only plat and not anywhere near ascendant even but the feeling of playing against people a few ranks lower after a loosing streak is messed up. Makes you feel like you don't know the game or the timings but in reality its just that your used to people doing whatever is considered the "optimal play" in your normal rank which isnt the same across the board.
What riot needs to do:
1) Verification for rank queue
2) Sepparate people by level would also be good (like for players below 150 and above 150)
3) No-comms rooms, let no-commers play on their own, not hard to tell who talks or not
4) There has to be insentive to play more, rather then to play less. I think best suggestion is to make dorrito level mean something, like getting more rewards for your rank the more filled your board is. For 1 win - gunbuddy
For 9 wins - background for title
For 25 wins full on specieal border
For 50 wins in your current rank. Meaning full triangle is filled, a skin for a pistol (or something). To the point where to 50 players of rank can get some special spray and even custom voice line that only avaliable for these players.
I also feel like the map rotation this act is a factor. Like Breeze AND Icebox in and Haven out is criminal
They should just remove breeze altogether
@@h0pelless850 they shouldn't remove any map altogether, that's a really bad take
however I don't see why they removed haven this act? it makes no sense, haven and ascent are like the main two maps that need to always stay in rotation, i swear.
icebox and breeze are definitely a little more skill based than other maps in some ways, too. maybe some players struggle with them leading to more bad players in matches
Only to be stuck gold 2 playing against former Immortal and Ascendant players
yeah youre just bad then brother
This is what happens to me too. This rank act I’ve been encountering so many peaked immortals and ascendant lobbies in my gold-plat games. And somehow we still lose even if I have them on our team. I peaked Diamond 1 in Act 7 ep 1 and I’ve been trying really hard to get it back but these ranks games have been so horrid.
@@oceann8583 yep, immo1 gun buddy in high gold lobby lmao mad
They need to adjust how RR is distributed. I know it’s win/loss based, but they need to reward RR for performance as well. If you’re consistently team or match MVPing, regardless of a loss, you should be losing minimal to no RR. Meanwhile if you’re 5/27/5 you should be dropping upwards of 35 RR to get people places where their skill level actually is. It’s excruciating this act.
Absolutely agree, the rr system right now is just wild
this is actually how it is, the better you do the less rr you lose, the worse you do the more you lose, but I don't think it rewards or punishes *enough*.
@@nhfulllltrue but we need a solution , like how difficult is to match with similar skilled players?.

I mean i never got pined
idk about this "Valorant" thing but the 24 minutes of subway serfers in the background was pretty good
This happens in every rank, I'm currently between S3 and G1 and sometimes no matter how we play, I went one time 10/20 with most of the kills being sova darts/ults.
They are ppl who'd rather draw than lose rr. They are usually bottom Fraggers cuz they usually don't have the confidence
Fear of losing rr....😑
Drawing is statistically better
@@mobileebikerentals2940 i would rather lose than draw a game.

Quit the game around a year ago cause I geniunely could not take the throwers anymore, I think valorant is the only competitive game where people geniunely think it's cool to throw and not care and there are zero concequences for it unless they are insanely obvious about it. Glad to know I quit before it got even worse, they really need to do something about it
Try playing Dota 2 😂😂
Never once, has an video ever felt so relatable. I want to keep loving this game but it honestly just feels like an one-sided, heavily abusive relationship. Being on the receiving side...
I have been playing this game for... over a year I'm sure
I have grown a lot since then, got better at getting kills
learned the tech, tips and tricks
*never got into Bronze*
whenever I get close, random smurf on other team, 2 teammates braindead
and just me and my homies gotta try and make the most of it
I played mid year one.
A big issue is just how toxic it really got over time.
It's so bad now.
People also just give up SO fast
bro i feel u man, ofc i understand some players maybe just so happen to be unlucky and have bad games/bad timing. honestly, as someone who was a hardstuck gold2 98rr for 1-2 years, i met tons of toxic players through my games, if you play this game you for sure will need a strong mental health, i always try to make my teammates stay positive and support them, but eventually i myself got drained and negative after some time, especially some players that arent really doing good maybe boosted (for example smokes badly), i would kindly ask them to smoke a specific spot, they would ignore it and rush in solo, 1 or 2 game is ok, but yeah. anyways i wish u the best man, hope u get back to radiant fr
i feel like we as a community keep pushing a boulder such as the replay system and keep falling down because valorant cares more about skins than the game itself
*Profit is what they mainly care about, sadly.
nobody gaf about the replay system bro can yall shutup. Jesus Christ
@@levibird6935 you must have been living under a rock if you say nobody "gaf" about the replay system. not sure why you are lashing out like a upset child, just move on or don't watch these sort of videos?

2 Things:
1. When you're talking about percentages of how many games used to be fun. This is just what its like to be in any rank other than the very top. I've had the exact same experience in almost every game I play. Being in any rank other than the highest just drops the teammate quality exponentially. (My best experience being going from Gold to GM in OW2)
Glad to see I’m not alone in the fall. I haven’t played valo in 2 weeks, and I’m feeling good. Maybe I come back in April nice and fresh.
I'm honestly just happy to see this is happening no matter what rank we all are 😭
I just keep deranking. I’m doing fine in the match but others ruin it for me, so I have no change to rank up.
Went from gold down to b3 and got stuck there bouncing between silver and bronze with throwers and toxic teammates 75% of the time. When I do have a good game and finally win it's usually not even because I played well, its just because a teammate was dominating the lobby. I just stopped playing ranked.
8:00 they heard your score and skaddaddle out of there 😂
I've been feeling this so much, most of my matches feel out of my control, no copium, the lobbies are such weird ones this season, from throws to insane aim demons
bro this vídeo is so real, the diamond/plat lobby are pure hell.
at this point the whole ranked cursed
Valorant Ranked is like that GIF with the Dog sitting in the fire with coffee. And Riot be like ''This is fine''
i know riot sees this lmfao, they aint be willing.
that evrmoar mthfuckar with his stupid "hidden mmr" idea is still ruining our games
Just started getting back into ranked, and I definitely felt like some games were just unwinnable even if you as an individual are better than any player on the other team. It only happened a few times to me though so I figured that the match making is just a little janky sometimes, but for it to happen to you that much is wild lol
6:35 that viper is literally depending on lineups to win rounds
ill have games in ascendant where it feels absolutely wild that my team managed to even get there and i can have games where right after it feels absolutely wild that i was able to get there. like some games are so incredibly competitive and its like the enemies have the most solid defence imaginable and i get headshot instantly every time and then the next game its like none of them know whats going on at all.
i think the best thing they need apart from a replay system is to avoid people as teammates button to avoid throwers and stuff
I really hope val will fix their game because if i spend time to win but my teammates are throwing the game im just going to uninstall
Appreciate the effort into making quality content, keeoh!
dude im watching these videos while i do my highschool homwork and ngl its makeing me focus better thanks
I started playing 2 weeks ago and the amount of smurfs is really demoralizing.
The pain is introduced in silver but barely
maybe you just got lucky, i dropped from g3 to b3 with 20% winrate
Sounds like things haven’t changed unfortunately
this was on the level of watching one of those really sad shows that you know ends badly.
One must imagine Sisyphus could log off
Ive been hardstuck diamond 2 for the past 4 acts now and its the same thing tbh, ive fallen from d2 to p1 for 2 of those 4 acts and everytime i had to grind my way back just by sheer aim and gamesense cus the lobbies seem to be full of smurfs or throwers and it doesnt help that I usually play solo. On the off chance i get to play in a 5 stack the situation seems much better at least considering i get to have fun
They need to make a ranked mode like prime in csgo where u pay to play with other prime players, that way valorant gets money and u only play with other serious players
1:03 the voice crack lol
That flankasaurus Rex guy in your last bind game has thrown more of my games than I can count
First round aces "Look at the dogi!" Legit me
why am i alone?
I sit by myself talking to the

This is hella weird, I just learnt to play talking to the moon on the piano...
you probably just gotta put yourself out there. the problem is usually just being too scared to say or do anything to actually go an get what you want. just gotta send it sometimes

yesterday i got 2 people on my team who started saying gg because we lost the 2 rounds after bonus on pistol... except we won pistol and bonus (2-2)
You can have the game of your life with 30 kills or more and still lose, but its like not only one unlucky game anymore, but this somehow is the norm now.
this happened to me for the past three days. sliver to bronze 2 0rr before getting a win. i was team or match mvp for all those games
i can relate to this video SO MUCH rn and im silver 2 xd
explained perfectly. valorant ranked is just like a casino.
Still dont understand how bad teammates get to those ranks
seeing keeoh go full passive aggressive that last game made my dayt lol
i went from having an 80% win rate from gold to ascendant then riot was like that's enough fun for you, went on a 15 game loosing streak with team and match mvp here and there, gave up on ranking and now im like that deadlock "i play for "fun" ".
It’s annoying when there are people that say its the rank that you deserve, or the rank you have reflects the skill you play at
I'm gold but I feel this so hard, the games I win I bottom or mid frag and get no RR because its putting me with carries to reward me from when I team MVP in most of the games I lose because of toxic teammates or people who just disconnect.
1:21 and I cracked open a drink too. What the frick just happened
Seeing that he has such a positive energy even after losing a lot makes me motivated to win
I stopped playing ranked right as the current map pool was implemented a few months back. Im sure there are multiple problems with the game but maybe when its in a worse state to play weird things happen to the playerbase. Try mixing in some other games into your streams to weather the storm, and good luck out there man
