I also started an alt account in hoenn just to catch dittos, it's a real game changer ! I don't do a lot of eggs, but the money is very nice when you don't like gym rerun
@@nico-ob6wj yeah, all shiny hunting really is a waste of time, it's only not a waste if you actually really want the shiny at the end, which I do, but I understand if others might not
I just started doing 2 ditto alts while hatching/singling and so far am enjoying it. The ditto alts seem to make enough money to rebuy the net balls. I was already egging every other day or so, so really no time lost either.
are you looking to farm charmanders, or egg hunt charmander? I think if you are egg hunting charmander you want to mostly catch dittos as 7 out of every 8 charmander eggs will hatch male, but for the 1/8 that done, you can farm whismur or magikarp males for it, as it is monster/dragon. whismur shows up in the rusturf tunnel at 100%, and magikarp shows up at sootopolis
yeah, one for ditto one for magikarp, the golden number is 6 breeders every 4 minutes, which will give you enough to make up for selling any 31 iv'd dittos on the side for some extra money, this would still be attainable if both alts were farming dittos but magikarps are faster typically
