I don’t think your missing much I watched a few episodes since they made you pay and they weren’t as good. I think they kind of lost interest in it. I feel like Finnigans has been spending more time on his personal UA-cam channel which I recommend
@@TheKnown98 It was ok for a bit but with the distance that Fin movedI think it started getting too difficult to get back over to Cali and then keep coming up with "new" stuff. Which is a shame because the old eps of just buying something and nursing it with roadside fixes and tricks was awesome on its own. After a while it felt a bit forced and more work than fun.
I miss these Roadkill episodes. I also miss the 1970s. My uncle had one of those jet boats back in the day with the coolest gas pedal. It was made out of metal in the shape of a bare right foot.
Really cool to see a new episode of Road... err "Boat Kill" make a comeback! As for what happened, my first educated guess would be running too lean and too much boost with the stock compression ratio.
If your gonna use copper silicone for a gasket u gotta coat both sides let them sit till tacky depending on temperature then tighten them down it won’t blow lol.. I had no money when I was younger lol I perfected it on several turbo cars lol usually sand both surfaces a little it’s all in the prep lol
Interesting. Currently building a 6.0 with turbo. Nothing real sinister. While talking to a certain rotating assembly manufacturer about internals he continued to re-emphasis "H-beam rods"! Got it!
As much as I love the show and how deeply I miss watching it…. This isn’t enough to get me to pay for the ability to watch it…. I can’t bring myself to indulge the greed of corporate network tv.
I had a '72 Biesemyer. Bought it for $2500. 460 big block with a .30 over cam.. Berkeley jet, seated 8, would barely get to 50mph. It did throw a nice roost though.
Oh, you say you need to tune your LS? (Holds out palm meaningfully. Counts your stack of bills) Oh you're retuning for turbos? Ahem! (Holds out palm meaningfully. Counts money) Tuning for a different application you say? (Holds out palm meaningfully) I know it seems egregious (counts bills), but trust me, tapping on this keyboard (stuffs stack of cash into a bulging pocket) is really much harder than it looks. Remember, Chevy is a name you can trust. Come back any time.
As an engine builder of 90s SCARAB boats with mercruiser 454 big block chevys. I found no difference. Even a stock pressure/volume oil pump and just a Crane hydraulic flat tappet cam.
ARE THOSE EXHAUSES OFF THE WIFEIYEEZ 6seater JETBOAT (or however many 4 6 10 wuever) OR is DAVE gettin a new set of ZOOMIES he gets to cut off and put out the hood on the way home??? LOL
But truck engine compared to marine gm engine different cam pistons oil pan an hardware is all stainless so this thing will get very rusty an won't run quite right unfortunately
watched a blown picklefork boat with 2 guys on 4th of july get on it and it stood on its prop and twisted and sunk both dead drowned..not a fan of back yard drag racing
Oh man, this makes me nostalgic for old school roadkill episodes that came on UA-cam for FREE. Oh man do I miss my regular Roadkill fix

Evidently the new ones aren’t that great anyway. I’m seeing that you’d be best off just watching Finnagans garage.
Haven't seen an episode of Roadkill in years now because well..... I can't

You certainly can. Just say you're broke.

@@ThatOneCanadianKid nope, but I'm also not bitching about it.
You displayed valor in the attempt, and this is what will be remembered by history. Well done. And rock on.

Loosing audience?
Maybe make the show available for the whole world again!

Wow , free , the only way I will ever watch this great show.
I love how there talking about how it just kicked one when it kicked 3+ 😂😂

AWESOME EPISODE!!!

Brilliant. Driveway swaps are minty
The music they use is so nostalgic to the good old days of roadkill
Why is motor trend reposting this
Beautiful carnage!!
Cooling system ???
What? The mighty Duo aren’t familiar with the 1999-2000 +.400” extended crankshaft register LS engines? Say it isn’t so!!! 🤣🤣🤣
That jet boat hitting triple digits..I doubt it 😳...be lucky to see 85
i would suggest watching Finnagans garage :) its still free
Hi, how can i contact you about the sponsorship?
This is a very old video. Just reuploaded.
Amazing episode gentlemen 🚹
But it's an LS?! According to the internet it's impossible to blow one up!
Clearly, something was way off in the tune up.
Yeah right … it’s roadkill we’re talkin about …..
Easy Peasy as always!!! You always make it work though!!! Get the JB Weld out. You can still make a solid hit I'm sure of it!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
how much boost ?
they said 10 lbs.....maybe not lol
? Was the first lake Elsinore
yes
Hahah, what can go wrong? 2 big turbos, 10psi, same compression ratio, surprise, not.
Who doesn’t love pre-det
People do it all the time. Something was obviously not right
rerun???
Yes

Them .30 over cams are bad mfkrs. Lol
LS3 into the boat
Add huge turbos …
What could go wrong?
The pistons have left the building…
Jeans? LOL no life vest, no helmet, no worries. LOL
We're the rings gapped ? Who cares right... good content -
Wow that was a great 15min then it was over
Hyper pistons and powdered rods... add boost... watch for debris
Too bad you didn't have a camera facing the motor when it blew up.
Already see this, u Re upload this episode

...you know this can't end well when you have to add fluid to the engine hoist...
Wow that tow seadoo is old like a 93-94 with a 96 hood
Looks like an old Rodge'rs 2 Me . He designed Gr8 Jet Boats
Ain't this an old video?
I stopped watching when motor trend made it paid
the title claims “twin turbo ls engine in a boat”, but i’m gonna be entirely honest, where’s a turbo?
Maybe watch the entire video. It’s the highlights of two episodes. 36 and 121. Episode 121 is where it gets twin turbos and then spits rods out.
We want full new episodes
Was always told to not use a car engine in a boat as the tolerance on the bearings are looser in the boat?

MANDELBAUM MANDELBAUM MANDELBAUM!!!
Yesssss
id say the jet drive coupling might have upset the engines Harmonics = RUD
MORE boost!!!
Bring mtod back to Australia.
Can’t get in uk anymore
That’s to bad for you two
Cumpletely kunjed that motor
literally pulls motor out of truck and breaks every law on the water 🤣 videos on my channel
Hi
why does anyone NOT RING GAP THE ENGINES when they are turbocharged!
ARE THOSE EXHAUSES OFF THE WIFEIYEEZ 6seater JETBOAT (or however many 4 6 10 wuever) OR is DAVE gettin a new set of ZOOMIES he gets to cut off and put out the hood on the way home??? LOL
Just edited out all the good parts of the video

😆😅😂🤣!!
no.
Drag and drive with boats

RE-RUN
Ya keep letting muscle truck set... please let me get it
If refueling on the water were illegal bunkering wouldn't exist and marinas would sell fuel. Just sayin
👍
hahahaha 😂😆🤣👍
the muscle truck was never twin turbo
This episode is old I've seen it before
Different episode
Thise definitely ain't twin turbos
did you watch the whole video?
Should’ve used a Ford lol!!
Waterkill
Didn’t we already see this episode?
Similar but different
Old episodes. Same garbage from motor trend
😻👌💜✨
And it’s an ls lol rods don’t hold …..
Huh, at least half the time when LS gets boosted, it blows up. When ran NA, its fine....
thats some poor installing right there.
It's just water. 🤌
