I normally use hyper g 48lbs in my head speed pro. I strung up kpop in my racket same tension and I definitely felt a lack of free pop/power compared to hyper g. The string setup felt firmer/stiffer. And it felt like I had to work harder to get a good quality ball compared to my hyper g. I’m going to try a lower tension next time to see if that will help with the firmer feeling and give me more free pop in my Kpop.
Calling Karue out as mediocre 4.5 NTRP 😂. One callout on this string is that Karue strings somewhere around 62 lbs tension. Not sure that characteristics are the same at that tension as they would be at my string tension of 49 lbs (Technifibre tf40 305 18x20).
I strung wasabi in two rackets : one at 53/51 and other at 51. 5 hours in and can’t move my shoulder lol.

Shaped strings send some long for me also... the sharp edges sometimes grab TOOOO MUCH.... strings with 6 or 7 or 8 sides that are rounder are more consistent

Could you try the Wasabi Pro? I Played with those strings twice and I'm impressed with the top spin and how soft it is.

Seems gimmicky
I think wasabi is garbage. Poly- even some of the stiffest strings haven’t given me arm pain. Mayami tour hex and toroline wasabi are arm killers.
Maybe string low 40s? Idk. But the feel is just cheap.
If you are looking for a cheap string: tourna line is quite good, not harsh, and plays pretty good. Silver 7 tour, bigger hitter blue and blue rough are good too. I’m more of a round poly guy so BH blue is great.
