Welcome to Detail Projects! In this video I will be testing out the Gyeon Wheel Cleaner with Iron again a wheel that has never been cleaned in years. I will also be comparing it to the P&S Brake Buster to see the difference between them.

Gyeon is solid. I’ve used brake buster for a while and switched to knockoff and recently haven’t been impressed with it. For the cost it’s cool but you’ll be going over wheels 2-3 times before you get great results. Gyeon may be more expensive but time is money.
You have to remember that P&S is by all means a cheap entry level detailing supply chain.
For the price if I don't have to work product long to get panel clean I like results of Gyeon.
Good comparison. Brake buster is solid and all for those of us who maintain their cars. But this will be a great product to have handy on trashed neglected wheels. Curious if you’ve tried P&S Knock off ?. I haven’t myself but was looking for something with more teeth than Brake buster
I’ve tried Knock Off. I’ve seen it work pretty well from P&S’s Chemtrol system, which I think was diluting it at 1:10. It’s not going to nuke anything at that dilution, but I’ve also only compared it to Brake Buster at 1:5, fwiw.
Maybe trying a little more aggressive brush might help. Especially with a wheel that’s not gloss back. I like the brush that you used on gloss wheels.
Thanks, I haven’t tried knock off yet
Tough call for me, been gawking at Carzilla for a while now but i'm sort of torn. I've got the 6 Pot Brembos on my challenger and i've been jumping between using the Simoniz platinum Iron Wheel cleaner or Autoglyms Magma.
I like them both but as you said the iron smells so really bad. I have since tried Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Hyper Foam Wheel Cleaner and Tire Prep and find it to be really good
Good to know I might have to give it a shot!
Man that brush is doing more damage than if I put mineral spirits on the wheel
